Lonely was a gem. I wish she would have released it as a single. Thanks for your reaction.

Your reaction when "Come Back To Me" came on was priceless. Everyone who hears this song for the first time is blown away, the 1st 27 seconds gets you everytime.
Glad you enjoyed the Rhythm Nation album, this is one of my ultimate favorite albums of Janet. Glad you added songs to your playlist ☺️
This album came out when I was 11 and I'd used my allowance $ to buy it and played it every single day. Loved it then and now.

Selena was actually a huge Janet fan! She performed a few of her songs.

So happy you are learning about Janets albums. Janet makes complete holistic albums and I would reccomend doing the albums and their videos in order. It will show Janets progression as an artist.
As a side note, Rhythm Nation was the first album I had as an 11 yo. I listened to the CD nonstop and then fell in love more with Janet during the 1993 janet era which is still my favorite from her. She was on top of the world from 1993 to 1995.

Well, you're on to something with "that '90's sound", because A LOT of artists adopted her vibe. She helped popularize New Jack Swing with her "Control" album and it continued to evolve with RN 1814's release. The only album with seven Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 hits. I believe it's the only album with 3 different #1 hits in 3 different years (Miss You Much in 1989, Escapade and Black Cat in 1990, and Love Will Never Do in 1991). The other top 5 hits are Rhythm Nation (topped out at #2); Alright (#4); and Come Back To Me (#2). Janet is quite the performer and strives to put on a SHOW.

Love this reaction video man!!!!!BUT I have disagree with u on the whole Sax thing…I love the Sax BUT that trumpet was needed…Sax is typical as a solo piece but I’m glad Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis went with the muted Trumpet as something different…it gave it a whole other vibe. Love ya videos bro!!!

Oh yes the trumpet is from none other than Jan's labelmate and founder of A&M, Herb Alpert.
