in computer science class (not an oblijactory one but really adb one normally thought to masters student) we hade adv applied statistics, we took the data of the EU for several years (the process is long took us two weeks to do it fully mathematically manually in class, as we had to code the whole thing as well) after showing the distribution for it and comparing it it shows out that women and men are paid equally with slight 3% differences depending on the field.
I asked my teacher as this was a long proj "what's the outcome? no pay gap" took her few times repeating the question to actually answer "No" (i didn't know back then it's political this was years ago pay gape is not as popular of topic as it's now, so i wasn't even asking to prove anything i guess i started to day dream mid-class as i wrote the whole thing myself and waited for class to finish)

For the war question, it comes from a time where women stayed home with the children and raised their own children instead of shipping them off to the state. It was also during the time where most people were involved in their local churches and community so when tragedy hits and the husband dies, the community would gather together, help the woman and child, and try to find a new husband to take care of them. This is also why it is the men who pay for dates and are expected to treat her like a princess as when they got married, he was responsible for providing income for the family (though the wives could also produce things that could be sold) and treating her like a princess would give her security in knowing that he would most likely continue that treatment after they get married.
Now, however, a lot of women wants the perks of both the modern age of making their own income and shipping the kids off to government schools as well as the traditional age of having the men pay for everything and being treated like a princess without having the negatives for both the different eras.
History didn't start last century.
For as long as humanity has existed on the surface of this planet, wars were always fought for one of two things: territory or resources.
Why didn't women fight in wars? Aside from the obvious physical strength answer, it's because wars generate death and death means that life must be recreated. And for the quasi entirety of history, men haven't been able to produce babies on their own and the human baby takes a long time to raise.
