With the plane out of action for so long, Lee wanted to re-familiarise himself with it. So we flew over Cinderford and Coleford before landing at Cotswold Airport (aka Kemble).
I can compare with the QuikR, 100HP. Fuel economy on the BMW engine is similar at 12.3 litres/hour IAS 70 MPH. Climb and descent performance similar although the DeltaJet can get in and out of shorter fields. DeltaJet very much lighter in pitch and noticeably lighter in roll as well. Handles rough air as well as the QuikR. the QuikR trims out faster by about 10 MPH TAS.

How does the Deltajet compare to the P&M Quik? I fly a small wing (10.6m) Quick (100HP).
