Golden chainsaw for coolest kill: imma give to that soldier Guapo the croc took out cuz though we briefly see him maul the soldier, just seeing Guapo bringing the soldier’s foot shows he did damage
Dull machete for lamest kill: Anton Castillo who just simply commits suicide (there’s always something about dictators taking themselves out)

I remember someone saying Juan shooting through the book was unnecessary. If you think about it, he was likely using the book to blind the bartender so he wouldn't be able to get a shot on Juan.

15:54. This scene confused me so much. Firstly the boy suffered no consequences for this. And after defending Dani to this degree and trying to escape why would you still defend your father.
Confusion. He's 13, he hasn't fully developed. That's his father and he's being brainwashed, but at the same time knows all the murder is wrong. Plus, I don't know what it would take to get me to against my own father.
He also might be afraid of what his father might do to him.
El presidente actually thinks he's saving diego by killing him, since he thinks the rebels are going to kill him themselves.

The game only leaves you with 2 real choices during the story:
- Leave Yara, and let Clara and the revolution die. Or stay and play.
- To kill or not to kill the American. Wich... doesn't affect anything in the game at all.
I mean, C´mon! Why not let to make some hard choices in the game! Choose sides and take decisions for each faction! Create some replayability!

@@lo2990 The entire ending of the game criticised the rebels and shows that just like after the First Civil War in 1967, the Castillos are replaced by yet even worse people. The Castillos are horrible, but at least the institute some kind of law.
I guess it's like Gadaffi right, terrible person, horrible, but the alternative that resulted from the Civil War has arguably been worse for Libya.
Under international law and the rules of armed conflict rebels, revolutionaries, partisans or whatever you call them are breaking laws so yeah they’re the bad guys. Castillo was voted in, he didn’t coup his way into power he was voted in by Yarans.
Alejo's death was such a bad joke, especially because you didn't know who tf he was until afterwards, then they tried to make you feel guilty for his death somehow during el Doctor's missions.
Still a fantastic Far Cry game though! I'm very happy they put effort into making content for after the story is done.
They tried to place the blame on Dani. But alejo had it coming. Apparently the reason the army even showed up was because Dani went AWOL and was hiding there. If anything the only death Dani should be feeling sad for is lita. Because well Dani did put her on that boat.

He was dying anyways by the time this mission happened his cancer was at the point of killing him. He was spitting blood and needed the same transfusions Anton was getting. In hindsight Carlos decided to go out on his own terms. He probably didn't had enough to live. Plus the whole point of his sacrifice was for espada and her brother to unite as a family once again.

With Far Cry 6 done this could be the chance to do a near perfect 7.
The villain was once again A+, the story lacked here and there but it improved.
Gameplay was really good.
If they take all that from every Far Cry and put a bit more focus and love into 7, it could be their best they ever did.
They already did their best with Far Cry 5

When Anton shot Clara and especially his own son my friend and I got so worked up! Cold hearted bastard.
The rebels were way worse than the “bad guys” I would had loved to eradicate them .
The only one who had some sense of actually building a society a running things was Clara, without her there just a bunch of messed up lunatics with mental issues and guns, even when she was alive they cared more about going Nuts and getting revenge instead of following some sort of plan, the whole thing with the death of diegos mother being a clear example, could have taken her prisoner instead they turned her to Swiss cheese despite not being a physical threat
The funniest thing is, the guerillas themselves admit that they had no post-plan after they took down Castillo. The power vacuum he'd leave behind, the chaos and lost of public order, the conflict from within the organization between its cells (the Legends and La Moral did say they wouldn't fully join Libertad), hell even the lack of political candidate for their precious free election, none of it is addressed. Clara herself was upper class, so she didn't have any credentials until Dani came along. Juan is washed up. It would've been hilarious if we'd chose to spare Mckay and we got an ending where him and his "connections" immediately came back and propped up his own candidate with all the money he'd promised Libertad and rendering the election useless.
The entire game is an allegory for American Imperialism, Juan is a CIA agent and Libertad is funded by the CIA, the whole purpose is so America gets the Viviro.

I think the theme was very flawed because I can see the argument of “oh he at least had law and order” with castille but I just really think the story wasn’t handled too well. Like there’s NO ONE else who could’ve led after? No politicians who secretly were against castille and could help take over?
Also honestly I would’ve stilled sided with the rebels because at least there’s a CHANCE to get better later while castillo was literally using slave labor with a fucking poison killing people. He’s absolutely no pagen who I could udnerstand why.

Is it just me who think Carlo's death was SUPER useless? Like- he took off the bomb off his son he could've thrown it away- Hell he could've thrown it at José (im probably writing his name wrong tbh I didn't pay attention to him)

I personally think that El Tigre was the saddest. On my first playthrough, I was pretty sad to see him go, considering how close I came with him.
This game is actually beyond its time, how many time have we seen the rebel ended up being worse than the dictator throughout history (Communist Russia over throne the monarchy led to a long reign of Soviet with 70+ mil dead bodies, Libya with Gadafi, etc). Anton Castillo was terrible but at least under his reign there's some sort of law and order. To be fair by the book he was on track of doing something good for the country (create something that would improve the country economy status and the world wouldn't say no to a cancer cure) even though the method is kind of F up by using slave. Singapore and South Korea dictators was doing the exact same thing after WWII, eliminate opponents in political (mainly the communist party gaining popularity, after WWII Communism is very popular in Southeast and East Asia), while focusing on economy. South Korea became a powerhouse in technology while Singapore became the most successful country via sea trading and finally slowly moving towards democracy. Like he said, free election won't put out fire.

The more I played the game, the more I sided with Castillo, not because he was the good choice, no like you said you encountered horrible sights to see what he did to achive what he wanted for Yara but the rebels really had no clue what to do + one of their own (cough* Juan) was actually the reason why their former leader Clara died.
So yes, in total.. Castillo was probably the less horrible solution for Yara.

I never said Castillo was a saint but he could've gave Yara the future, the rebels have no idea what to do as you see at the end of the game once Dani leaves.

Dawg I had no clue that Paolo was trans until he said "Im a trans person in fucking yara" They honestly put work into making him look like a trans man cause you cant tell just by glancing but you listen and look closely then it becomes more clear about their identity. Same goes with every character in far cry 6. Also why did El Tigres death hurt the most out of every other character.

Yeah man I agree Diego could’ve been a potentially cool protagonist and I love to El Tigre And bicho but not Maxima Matanzas (they suck horribly) The story of this game sucked and needs a remake but probably won’t happen because Ubisoft cares about the money more than they care about the quality nowadays
