- Saved the best for last. Diana Ross performed another rarely sung song to her fans at the Kennedy Center. It felt really good to see her in a happy place and singing with passion and joy. She makes fun of her receiving the Medal of Freedom from President Obama (as she touches her hair) and speaks about her son, Evan's marriage. This song means alot to her and she shows it. I recorded this song on two separate nights and combined them in this video and added a few photos. My time in Washington DC will always be magical and memorable. Bet not too many people can say that about their experience there! Ha Ha!

I was there!!!! We were so connected to Diana and Diana to us that night.....She had just received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and this show was just so meaningful, so memorable and beautiful because of the heightened grandeur of spirit and acknowledgement.
Diana even touched hands while from the stage when everyone swarmed the stage to race towards her.... All ages, all races, genders.... Diana brought everybody together. When the house lights came up you realized how many people felt it too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love.

It's been so wonderful seeing Miss Ross singing "The Best Years of My Life" again. This is one of my favorite songs from her extensive catalog. I heard some say that she also sang another one of my favorites, "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" during these shows with the N.S.O. Pops. I wonder if any footage was recorded.
