Mr Blobby's House at Crinkley Bottom theme park has been the topic of many urban exploration forums for years, but what did the park used to look like? Here are a selection of before and after photos showing Dunblobbin in its heyday and following its closure in the late 90s.
I can distantly remember visiting the park in 1996 when I was 3 years old. When we visited Dun Blobbin, my Dad rang the door bell. When the blobby chant occurred, I instantly grabbed hold of my Mum in fear Mr Blobby was going to come running out of the house.
We went in, me still so cautious, saw the living room and kitchen parts, I remember thinking the baby blobby was cute. Then I started looking at the paintings in the hallway my parents said "Look he's having a shower". I turned around and the second I saw 2:15 I screamed in trauma. My mum having to pick me up, the part that followed had Mr Blobby snoring in bed which made things worse thinking he was going to wake up and come running after us!

I am glad you got there before 1997. The place is closed for 26 years. (1 YEAR BEFORE CLOSING!!)
@@BloxyFan56Yeah, interesting for me yo learn that it was blowed just appear after my experience. I've discovered three photos taken on the day we visited it.

Nothing fascinates me more than before and after photos showing dereliction and decay. Makes you wonder what it was all for!

my friend went here as a child and said Mr bloobys house terrified him as it was so loud and sounded like he was being murdered a few years after it had closed the sound could still be heard until they removed the speakers x

When i was an kid I was born in Uk, That my mom said Hey we will go to dunblobbin! in 1996 we played so fun for fun.... And Then Mr Blobby comes out and took picturce of me! But and then i saw an pool and my mom said: Tomorrow at 8 pm we go again in 1997 and i said Ok! But later it was abbonded
i told my mom and he says: No its not So i miss this so much Brings us old memory 😢
I went to this theme park as a kid, been to Granada studios and met Noel Edmondson and Mr. Blobby and family, sad to see it as it is now

They should demolish the entire fairs to build an ecological park with many green spaces and lakes to encourage ecological conservation.

I trained in animal care at Cricket St Thomas in 94/95. I knew the people that went in the Blobby suit! 🤣🤣

The person who wore the suit had it and still does bits and pieces for tv. His latest stuff was for a uk show called this morning and another show called lose women

I think it was demolished due to homeless people sleeping there.
Possibly, but it's more likely the hotel owners were getting frustrated by people trespassing their land. Cricket is quite remote and the area is rather affluent, so unlikely to be many squatters 😁
