Mr Blobbys Theme Park at Cricket St Thomas was open in 1994 and closed in 1996.
It then reverted back to a wildlife park which closed in 2009, the animals were re-homed although we seem to remember there being some controversy over some animals being destroyed rather than re-homed!
From 2010 it was advertised as a Hotel and gardens that could be visited, the gardens appear to have only lasted a short while, the hotel and leisure complex is owned by Warner, the hotel is adults only.
If you go there now it's free to walk around the grounds but there is not much there, some signs of the old wildlife park remain but a lot of it it overgrown and not maintained, an award winning display garden with a sign saying 2010 is overgrown, a pond with waterfall is not working and contains stagnant water.
If you can remember the wildlife park you would be quiet sad to see how it is now, it's still a nice piece of countryside but nothing compared to what it was, it's a pity Warner Leisure Hotels decided to take this route with the park.
Noel Edmonds actually thought this place was going to continue for decades, like a British Disneyland.
This was probably the beginning of him losing his mind.
Over 10 years later… You have a great adventure seeing what are things are. It’s 2024 and 2014 is over 10 years now
I wonder what aliens would think of us if the first place they arrived at was Dunblobbin.

How close to where the wildlife park was located was this theme park? I've been to the wildlife park, but have never noticed these ruins
As far as I am aware the whole animal park was the theme park, Dumblobbin was just a small part of it, the ruins are easy to find if you know where to look but have been knocked down now so just a load of rubble, I have got another video on my channel showing the ruins if your interested.
Apparently it was used for raves after it closed

They have better have torn it down by now! I think Noel Edmonds and his companies need to take some responsibly for it and remove it free of charge.

Quite sad it has been tho, i think its a cool little easter egg type place with lots of old memories and creepy feeling from years of neglect

the house is now a pile of rubble (like the rest of the grounds), the building was left to fall on its own as waners didnt want to spend out on the money (hence why the zoo was closed) gessing because people kept seeking for it and it unsafety of the building waners had it knocked down before someone gets injered while on their grounds as they would be lyable to it. I couldnt tell you as im out of the knowlege since the zoo was demolshed its self. Plus they never could stop people from going up their as it never had signs to say so.

@@BlazeZayanIt’s only demolished in September 2014, before it got demolished they spray painted *EROR* then *Blobby* *touched* *me* *here* And They got spray painted even more with some other company logos that are colored before being demolished, They posted that dunblobbin picture in 2009 and then it’s posted to the public!!! But in (September 2014-NOW) they only saw it demolished for some reasons that some people think it’s destroyed and demolished, If you went there in (late 1997- Sept 2014) then you can explore the park! If you are there in (Summer 1994 - Mid 1997) You’re lucky that You get to visit the whole park!
