After this Tabu claps her hands saying "Wow" which we can interpret in 2 ways. I think the way we think about Tabu is the same way that people think about Toni Collette in Hollywood. Nobody disagrees that they are amazing actresses. In fact both have chameleon like abilities. They give each and every character they play an identity of their own. Their roles are diverse and they are crazy versatile. But the general audience often overlooks them in favor of more glamorous actors and actresses. While they acknowledge that they are great actress, Collette and Tabu are never on the top of the list of their favourite actresses.

Tabu in Maqbool is in my opinion the sexiest/most seductive portrayal of a female character in Hindi Cinema where the role actually required it and not done just for the sake of eyeballs. On the other hand, she portrayed Sandhna in Hum Saat Saat Hain gracefully. We can't say that about many actresses, infact the only other name that comes to my mind is Vidya Balan with her portrayal of Silk Smitha in Dirty Picture and in Ishqiya and on the other hand her roles in films like Heyy Baby, Bhool Bhulaiya etc. These are the best actresses in Hindi Cinema but my personal favourite has to be Tabu because I can't get over her performance in Maqbool!

She was brillant and outstanding in those movies. 😊♥️ I’m waiting to see Tabu in a historical movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, I wish that she is doing a movie with him in the future and this can be a dream come true.
