Destiny 2 Lightfall Raid Root of Nightmares
A guide specifically for Encounter 2 "Enter the Root" Scission. In my original FULL guide for the Root of Nightmares raid, I published a strategy for Encounter 2 that I feel is far too convoluted, complicated, and difficult to follow.
After playing as part of LFG teams and seeing what the community was following, I decided to release this simplified rendition. This strategy only requires assigning 2 runners. Even if these 2 runners do not feel 100% comfortable, the node locations don't change on any of the floors. So with enough wipes/attempts the runners will eventually memorize them. Equip a lightweight primary weapon and they will be fine mobility-wise. In this guide, our team fumbled on the first floor on the dark chain side and even losing 20-30 seconds we were able to complete the dark chain (albeit I had eager edge on). As long as the runners do not stop running and continue to push forward, look behind pillars for the next node, and keep zig zagging they'll be fine.
Everyone else is simply on ad-clear duty. Only to dip into the source bubble to replenish their buff to damage the special shielded enemies.
It was really bothering me that what I uploaded was far more complicated and potentially confusing. And it was the LFG experience that motivated me to publish this instead.

You nailed this encounter in this version of the guide.
I did my first 3 RoN's ever recently these last two weeks, and i taught myself beforehand with your original RoN guide and your OG version of Scission was, well honestly badly out of touch with how the encounter was actually done lol. But this? Nailed. Perfect.
The only ways i think you could improve the other RoN encounters in your guide is for Planets, to number the planets according to what people actually call them in the vast majority of LFG's being 1-6 and how people know and say "it's going to be mid, left, right" right before the boss DPS phase in Planets, like how and why do they know that? Cause i don't lol
You could probably improve your Nezzy guide by showing an updated version of the runners route for easier comprehension and exactly how to activate the Refuge mechanic and who can do that,
Also most importantly is to smoothly show the "Gaze" teams job and for Nezarec, how it's properly done, footage of it being done couple times in a row to really see, leaving out all guess work for a fresh and new player trying to learn the 3 different jobs of the Nezarec encounter.
I love your guides, because you stay on topic, your guides are divided into Clear and concise sections for which job and which encounter you're talking about and there is no dead time in your narration, where as KackisHD, Datto and whoever else will just be a barrage of words and often irrelevent footage smashed together with no coherent organization. You're great, the only other guide maker i've seen do as good as you was Ninjapups when he made his Crown of Sorrow guide, but he's since retired. Please keep up your amazing work, i refer everyone who asks for guides to your channel.
This is the feedback that's awesome thank you for that and for the kind words! Planets has been bothering me too since I've been in LFGs that have really struggled with those callouts and I sit there and listen to them argue amongst themselves.
Same with refuge and gaze. Sometimes some gazers shoot the shoulders super quick and Nezzy bugs out. I'll have to get more footage of refuge and gaze. LFG Strategies have evolved since then!
