@juansarabia1832 Turbo S is a fantastic machine. But not in the league of the X3 or this new Maverick. Polaris used the 25 inches of usable wheel travel for advertisement when in reality it only has about 21 in the rear and around 19 in the front. The X3 has 24 at the rear and 22 in the front which is REAL travel besting the Turbo S by quite a large margin. The X3s ride with smart shox is the best riding sxs on the market, literally soaks everything up like a Cadillac. Has more power, and is the more advanced chassis. Hard to believe that's the OLD version. Now this new version, is even better than the old X3 which is astonishing. But not cracking on Polaris, they make a great product, Can Am just dominates the sxs industry, and also dominates King of Hammers year after year.
check out this past years King of Hammers event. The Maverick R's dominated almost every race category - and the arms were as solid and sturdy as any other UTV from what we saw.
I just returned from a West Virginia trip and that place was dominated by Polaris. Everyone was talking about what garbage Can Am machines are. I thought little of Polaris do to their earlier models, but after riding in all the new models, I’m a believer that they got the market cornered!
We think all the manufacturers have been stepping up lately, but Polaris has been a very popular platform to upgrade. Dunes over here on the west coast are covered with Polaris as well. X3's are still our most popular model specific category and the new Maverick R cannot be overlooked! The articulation on the front suspension is really impressive in person.
Unfortunately it blew through all of its suspension travel on a little tiny mogul, because it's spring ramp up right is too slow. Another words it needs more Rising rate !! take it back to the drawing board.. .
The design looks out of the norm, but man the more we see the Mav R's perform firsthand, the more we're impressed with them. Handles whoops like nothing and can crawl up and over obstacles so much better than what people think. Take a look at this past year's King of Hammers videos and you'll see.
Every body getting in on the Ken Block/Rob Dahm cantilever band wagon these days!! Bad ass though,the mud riders Prob gona have to make big changes lol
@@jamescrud the geometry of the suspension is not in question, even tho trophy trucks use independent A arms that look NOTHING LIKE this trash. The only thing in question is your IQ and the fact that you think you understand their design, which is a flaw in your design and in theirs.
