Wide lenses are good to capture overall of the interior, however there is a problem with ultra wide. it distorts the vertical line. Tilt lenses are better for that.

Yes, wide lenses for interiors can sometimes be cool and get more area in the frame. There is one shot I want to take in a small room, with a table and two chairs at the shorter distance from me and the adjacent walls on either side need the farther distance away, for solo/mid shots of each chair (with a person sitting), so I really cant get the master shot with table in the middle and chairs on the sides. The distance is hardly 4 feet and I cant cram into the wall much or take the camera higher enough to get all things in the frame and a wide angle lens isn't enough, so my solution was by accident.
I accidentally held a 2x tele-converter in front of the lens, backwards and it got everything in. I had to raise the camera up a bit and I think it gets a very cool dreamy shot.
I was actually looking for the fisheye adapter, but somehow grabbed the teleconverter with the macro piece instead.
So, I guess, there can be so many ways to get a shot and we might run into a very interesting solution with what we have
