- So just a small summary of what happened:
Mihoyo tried to change Neuvillette's charged attack hyper beam so that it was fair to all users from different platforms. This is because those on mouse & keyboard can switch the mouse sensitivity and spin in 360s to blast every enemy while mobile users are unable to do that. Not sure about console users though....
The change made his charged attack "clunky" to use as reported by PC users and Mihoyo received crazy backlash for attempting to change his kit so long after his release.
In response to that, Mihoyo is now acknowledging their mistake and reverting the change and compensating 1,600 primogems, which is 1 multi. This has almost never happened before and it is great to see that Mihoyo is changing their compensation rates after receiving direct competition from Wuthering Waves.

Do you think Mihoyo is improving or is this all just a ploy to get us all back into the game?
Sadly Its not improving, what they did was changing a characters kit Who we got in 4.1, which is like a few months ago and they cant change something that buffs the character and its not even bug,like if ur going to change something change it at beta before people pull for him🫥
They probably did it for the new hydro catalyst girl from natlan I heard they will be both on the same level when it comes to dps,so nevuilette havers could skip her but if they nerfed him they may consider pulling for her☹️
But Im glad the players are starting standing up for themselves🙂
@@Cindy0.2 The Chinese government has a law relating to false advertisement and it is actually illegal for companies to nerf characters after release in Gacha Games.
This was also the reason why the CN community complained about Zhong Li during the beta because he was meant to signify the Dragon (Symbol of Power).
Neuvillette was always insanely powerful and they realised after his release that mobile players are “disadvantaged” from the mobility while using his charged attack and they tried to fix it. However it doesn’t exactly work in practice so it became a “nerf” for pc and console users since he is slower after the tweak.
The reason why they actually reverted the change is because the CN players allegedly reported it to their government and took it up to them.

Well they have been getting insane revenue even with their ignorance.
It is like the saying goes: Don't change what works.
If they have been able to top the charts and drain money from their players with these antics, they have no reason to change how they function until we are able to lower their revenue by not summoning as a whole. This just isn't practical, and they know it, therefore they don't give two shits if I am gonna be honest

They didn’t listen they were only going to give 100 primos until the CN community started threatening law suits, this wasn’t them being generous.
@@anonymouscommenter2425 yeah I doubt they would continue with these “significant compensations” but hopefully they would step in the right direction and listen to feedbacks.
This is only the second incident of the CN community outrage, after the Zhong Li rework. It kinda goes to show that if it isn’t an extreme case, Mihoyo is likely to just feign ignorance

Why the hell they roll back neuvielette's kit? lol they should not listen to those crying players that only knows is to abuse this feature. If I'm Hoyo I will give Neuvillite some interval attacks if I'm them maybe 3 seconds or 2 seconds or 1.5seconds
also hide this interval attack if possible maybe add new boss that makes neuvilete unplayable
@@MimicSensei-fi1eq you can release a character weak but after the character is already out and about, chinese companies have to be very mindful about altering them.
This is a legal issue, not a company issue and the reason why they were forced to change the kit back is because the players brought it up to the government
