    Been twice to Disney and never really thought about collecting pins, but will do this time to make a pin board. Looks really nice.

      They look great when put into a display by type or collection. Once you start down that slippery pin collecting slope though 🤣

      I will say the if you can get an actual deeper box frame it would be better. But I love the pre-cut mount on these, gives it a rather more expensive look, even though they’re cheap. Thanks for watching

    Beautiful!!
    All the other pin boards I’ve seen have an open face and I worry about them falling out.
    But they look very nice behind the glass. And so neatly arranged!! 😍🤩

    Another fab video guys. What a great way to display your pins. Ours are currently mounted on canvases all displayed in the office/spare room. Goofy, vinylmation and Star Wars pins. Haven’t been since Galaxys Edge opened and can’t wait to hopefully see it soon.

    Awww your pin frames are such a nice idea. How amazing is the Disneyland Park pin? Wouldn’t be able to wear that on the old lanyard walking around the parks. 😂 Oooh the Star Wars frame looks amazing. All our pins are in our pin cases but it’s so lovely that you can put them up and see them all the time. Lovely vlog you guys. ✨ Thanks for sharing ✨

    If I want to do a regular cork board on my wall, will the cork hold my pins really good without falling off? Without the little back pieces

    Pin collecting is not something I’ve got involved with although having said that, I did go a bit mad with the 2012 Olympics! That was a minefield trying to get hold of the opening and closing ceremony badges, the pride badges, the volunteer badges etc. I did get a couple of sets that make up a map of the British Isles but those are already framed. But thanks for your masterclass on creating a display using the corkboard and the frames, I’ll have to have a go at that 👍🏻
    Off topic but what do you think of the head sculpt for your MK 85 HT Ironman? I haven’t got mine yet so I can’t comment but is it as bad as everybody says? When I first saw the final product, the first thing that came to mind is how much younger he looked which is funny given that the MK 85 was five years after the snap (or the blip whichever you want to call it).

    • @RobboAndGent
      @RobboAndGent  Před 3 lety +1

      Glad we could inspire others to try it out. As for the MK85, I’m okay with the sculpt. It’s not perfect and I think the main issue is that the details are a little washed out. He was more gaunt in endgame so I actually think it’s closer than some previous sculpts. Sideshow have told me that they’re likely to be sending out the replacement heads later this year once they get the go ahead from hot toys. So I’ll have 2 heads to choose from at no extra cost.

      @ch4os_theory175 Před 3 lety

      @@RobboAndGent mine’s on order from Moviefigures.co.uk but I’m not expecting it anytime soon. I think they get their stock from Sideshow & I’m waiting for them to confirm if they’re going to supply the alternative sculpt.
      If you guys ever fancy a chat on Zoom or Skype then feel free to give me a shout sometime.

    Nice Barnet! That Disneyland Shield pin is amazing. Good to display the pins as many collectors just keep them hidden away in albums. 👍🏻
