    I have an Endurace aluminium with 11-speed 105 - under $1800 and a great all-road bike. The specified tyre clearance is 35 mm but I have 38 mm Gravelkings and there is still space for wider. In the last couple of weeks, I have used it for my 40k commute, been bikepacking, and done a cyclocross race. I upgraded to the carbon "leaf-spring" seatpost, and with carbon forks, the ride is great.

      Look up local prices. CZcams is global and i dont Care what the Price is in England or german.
      And the bike channels doesnt set the Price, so averything is relative when it comes to whats cheap or not

      I am in the US. I like to know if the bike is available in the US and a price in a major currency. If a bike is listed as £2,109, for example, I have in idea of it is in the ballpark of what I want to spend. If it is £9,999, time to move on.

    Being a lover of my 2 TCR's I was drawn to the Defy when I started to think about an endurance bike but after many reviews I'm falling in love with the new Roubaix for what seems to be the best comfort and versatility available

    Great year for new bikes. And people realising they'd be better suited on an endurance bike than a race bike. I'm ordering the Giant Defy in January.

  • @jimtro4403

    I like the direction the Giant Defy has gone in and the geometry is pretty relaxed! Once I find one in my area I think my Domane be moving on.

    Avoid the Trek Domane. The rear isospeed design is defective. It’s been creaking and seatpost slipping down. Lots of complaints about this.

    • @jimmansi1187
      @jimmansi1187 Před 6 měsíci +4

      I bought a Domane SL6 3 yrs ago & absolutely hated that bike. The ISO speed does nothing, front wheel toe overlap is downright dangerous & no matter what I did ergo wise it gave me bad knee pain every time I rode it. Luckily I sold it during Covid & gat all my $ back

    • @mikeward2922
      @mikeward2922 Před 3 měsíci

      Maybe I got lucky. I bought a used 2019 Trek Domane SL 5. Way more comfortable than my previous bike in terms of compliance. It has the fixed rear and front ISO speed. Instantly my hand numbness, gone. Jarring bumps, gone. I'm 59 and way more interested in comfort, but I still ride for time goals. Now, having said all that, I'm not necessarily a fan of compliance gimmicks, so I'm definitely on board with what bikes provide the most comfort without high maintenance. I always wanted a Roubaix, but I just hear complaints of Future Shock. So, what is the most comfortable endurance bike out there?

    Please help to understand regarding this Vitus endurance or allroad, this aggressive geometry and very aggressive stack-reach ratio how it gets in endurance category?? Is ii comfortable to ride for 60 miles for 60 y.o. man ? Does it have this comfortable ride position like Trek Domane for example? I don’t think so and don’t get why this Vitus is on this review

      Lots of warranty issues with the bottom bracket shells on those. I build about 5 cervelos a day, I love them. I mostly build their TT bikes, the p series. But for the past 4 years they have been having manufacturing issues with their bb shells on some.of their endurance bikes and some of their TT bikes. I wonder if that's why he didn't mention it? I agree it's a great bike! Same issues with the canyon Endurace and I love mine!
