    • @sharrouken4040
      @sharrouken4040 Před 6 lety +2

James Martinelli the Maronite church began as a part of the Antochian church . Back then Antochian church was formed by two groups the Byzantines (greeks) and the syriacs (with a lot of political problems between them) with the Caledonian council the byzantin and syriac churches splited because the syriacs did not recognized the council . But somewhere near Aleppo was a monastery named Saint Maroun (where hundreds of monks lived they were the disciples of Saint Maroun) this monastery was Syriac but embraced the Calcedonian Council and even participated in it. So right now you have two types of Syriacs , you have the Calcedonian and the non Calcedonian. The Calcedonian where called Maronites in reference to Saint Maron Monastery . And due to the refuge of the maronites in mount Lebanon after the muslim invasion geographical links were cutted with antioch and also due to a several fake patriarchal nomination over antioch: where the emperor would name a person to serve like a "patriarch" , the monks of saint Maroun with all the syriac Calcedonian bishops will name a patriarch over them and officially create the Antochian Syriac Maronite Church.

It saddens me terribly that our most beautiful liturgy has modernised so much since Vatican Council II; we want the beauty of the traditional Maronite Mass to be given to us! Many, like myself, have stopped going to the modern Maronite Mass because the Novus Ordo was imposed on us in the 60s, it is not the Mass of all time. Please give us the Mass that sanctified Mar Charbel and many of our saints. How can such a request go unheard since Our Holy Father, Pope Emeritus Benedict VXI gave the freedom to every priest to celebrate the Tridentine Mass (extra-ordinary form) in his Summorum Pontificum which he gave Motu Proprio, on July 7th 2007 - this same permission would be given to all priests to celebrate the traditional liturgy of their Rite since the NO was not just imposed on the Latin Rite but on all the Catholic Rites.

    • @3987Gara
      @3987Gara Před 6 lety

It is unfortunate. I myself am a Roman Latin Rite Catholic, and I will not attend the Pauline Rite (Novus Ordo) as it is rather schimatic. I was wondering if that modernization was applied to the other Rites, and just reading your post, it would seem so. As to the Latin Rite a.k.a., Tridentine Mass, Pope St. Puis V, locked that Mass (Liturgy) down to prevent any corruptions that the Protestants of that time were try to adulterate the Liturgy. It is truly sad, if you compare the Pauline Rite to what the Anglicans and Luther did to their liturgies, and there is no real difference. e.g., czcams.com/video/l87OJ0sOLzE/video.html . When I say that Pius V locked the Mass down, he did so with the Papal Bull Quo Primum; however, the Novus Ordo (Pauline Rite) does not violate that as it is its own Rite; not only this Paul VI did not promulgate it, thus, he did not violate this Papal Bull.
Father Gregory Hesse (S.T.D., J.C.D., S.T.L., J.C.L., Canon Lawyer, Doctor of Thomistic Theology), my God have mercy on his soul, talks about these issues, which I highly recommend all Catholics to look into. czcams.com/video/glSHJ0H3DFA/video.html
As I was born into the Roman Latin Rite, I am not allowed to attend any Rite except that one; this is to include the Pauline Rite. czcams.com/video/f_yPDcmBCXI/video.html

Maronites are more than a church , they are a nation with a common history that date back to thousand years ago , Now we have some spreading ideas that denies the fact that maronites are one people due to some converts that don't have a Lebanese ancestral background , and just refer to the maronites as a church attendants . In this video there is no mention to the resistance of the maronites against the ayoubits, mamelouks , the ottomans , there is no mention to the battle between John Maroun and the byzantines in the kadisha valley , jebet bcharre massacre, youssef beik karam and the war of 1860, and the large famine caused by the ottomans against the maronites and this event led to the flee of the maronites from the lebanese mountains to all the world.... This is sad, There is no mention to any maronite history in this video only 5 prcent of it . The maronite history is a history of a people of a nation that gathered around a church and therefore they became one , any new person who want to become a maronite must understand this , and to all the maronite priests that want to change our history and claim that maronites are only the followers of a church not a nation i recommend them to read what our patriarch mar Estphen Douaihy wrote in his books about the history and the definition of being a maronite .

To those who insist in their attacks, know that I have already forgiven you. You probably can't understand what forgiveness is in Jesus' name. Let me tell you so to ease it on you. It's a wonderful peace in which we bask when others reveal the darkness of their hearts. So whatever you spit out, fret, rave and rage, it doesn't affect us a bit. It doesn't touch us, and it certainly does not change our faith. We are at peace for having been saved by Jesus.
So, sincerely, I forgive you. I forgive you for what you said and will say of ugliness, for using fake names to impersonate other religions than yours, for harboring so much hate in your ignorance, and for being obsessed with us to that point.
I do forgive you, because this is what Jesus taught us and requires of us. I know you cannot understand it, but I still grant it to you. And for you, I pray,"Forgive them Father, for they don't know what they are doing" and grant them The Light of Your Holy Spirit so they will come to know You, for Your glory, in Jesus' divine name. Amen.

+Paulo S. Hi Paulo, true, forgiveness is the most difficult thing to do for us humans. But if He did it at the cross, we certainly can for much less hurts, and when we do it in His name, it is such a beautiful sense of relief. The good news is that it is much more doable than we humans assume. By casting out all negatives of anger and pain, asking for His blessings to fill instead the vacated area in us, it is His peace and grace in us. When things seem too painful and anger is helping us deal with the pain, yet creating a vicious circle which in fact enchains us in torment, we just have to ask Him for the grace to forgive, really and genuinely and truthfully desiring it. Peace.

How did the Maronite Divine Liturgy become so heavily Latinized and then influenced by the Novus Ordo of the Roman Mass?
Of the 23 Eastern Catholic Churches, the Maronite Church is the only Eastern Catholic Church which I know of whose liturgy was heavily reformed basically to mirror our Ordinary Form Roman Mass?
How and why did this happen?
I'm a Roman Rite Catholic who loves the Ordinary Form, but I feel very uneasy about the way the Maronite Liturgy has not only been Latinized but reformed after the OF... It just feels so wrong to me.

John 3:13 (Jesus said)No one ascended into heaven. but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which was from the heaven.
Matthew 5: 5 (and also Jesus said)
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Arabic language down👇 (interesting for marounite religion)
Jesus did not have long hair as apostle Paul said in. A.Corinthians 11:14-15
14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is an insult to him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is to her glory. for his hair is given to him for a covering:
Why do we grow old and die?
GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden.
God said to Adam: “The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” - Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die.
GOD'S PURPOSE WAS NOT THAT PEOPLE DIE.
God said to Adam: "Eat your bread with the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground from where you were taken. for you were dust and you will become dust. ”- Genesis 3: 17-19. As a result, “all the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years and he died.” - Genesis 5: 5. Adam did not go to heaven or hell. Or live in a spiritual realm.
    What is the Resurrection?
    The Bible's answer
In the Bible, the Greek word translated "resurrection" means "to stand" or "to restore." The resurrected person is resurrected from the dead and is the same person who was before. - 1 Corinthians 15:12, 13.
It is true that the word "resurrection" is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which are known as the Old Testament, but the promise of resurrection is there. For example, through the prophet Hosea, God promised: “I will rescue them from the hand of the grave, and I will rescue them from death.” - Hosea 13:14; Job 14: 13-15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12: 2, 13.
Where will people be resurrected? Some people will be resurrected to live in heaven. There they will reign with Jesus Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5: 1; Revelation 5: 9, 10. The Bible calls this resurrection "the first resurrection" and the word "first" makes it clear that there will be another resurrection. - Revelation 20: 6. That other resurrection will be for the living on earth, and most of the dead will be resurrected in this way. - Psalm 37:29.
How are the dead raised? God gave Jesus the power to resurrect the dead. - John 11:25. Jesus will bring to life “all those in the memorial tombs,” each with his own personality, attributes, and memories. - John 5:28, 29. Some will be resurrected to live in heaven, while others will be resurrected to live on earth with perfect and healthy bodies. - Isaiah 33:24; 35: 5, 6. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-44, 50
They multiply priests and saints with sad faces pile up, perform miracles, cast out demons. But Jesus said, The tree is known by its fruit.
    THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW
    7: 21-23:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and did many miracles in your name?' 23 Then i will tell them plainly that I did not know you at all. Get away from me, you workers of iniquity.
    Matthew 7: 15-20
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? 17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; and an evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Ye shall know them by their fruits.
    B. LETTER TO CORINTHIANS (Paul)
    11: 13-15:
13 For such are the apostles, liars, deceitful workers, impersonating the apostles of Christ. 14 And it is not surprising. because Satan also takes the form of a bright angel. 15 Wherefore, it is not a great thing that his ministers should be likened unto the ministers of righteousness. Their end will be in proportion to their deeds.
4: 4. In whom is the god of this world?
(Satan) blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ might not shine upon them, which is the image of God.
Eternal life is a free gift from God. The eternal punishment is not righteousness because how many years can a person live at most? Here, eternal punishment means eternal death. God is Love!
    Bible answers
    Ecclesiastes 3:19,20
19 for there is an outcome for humans and an outcome for animals, they all have the same outcome. As the one dies, so the other dies, and they all have but one life. So man has no superiority over animals, for everything is futile. 20 All are going to the same place. They all come from the dust, and they all are returning to the dust.
    John 3:13
13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven, but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man.
    John 5:28,29
28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

And to the question of accepted, you have to ask the Maronites why they switched allegiances and turned coats so much throughout History. They started off as Christians (a.k.a. Orthodox). Then, the ones of the coast (nowadays Lebanon) became monothelite heretics, and finally, they converted to Latinism in hopes for exchange of help from the Crusaders.
Most Orthodox in Lebanon or outside of the Middle East don't have problem with Maronites; we might have an issue with false advertising from their part (calling themselves orthodox, when they follow the roman layman, etc.), in order to cause confusion and mislead people. We also have a problem with Rome's obsession of making us submit to their Pope (first through invasions, threats, genocides, deception, and nowadays through ecumenism); they seem not resting until they make us submitting to their Pope, which will not happen, in spite of what one or two or twenty of our bishops (Patriarch of Constantinople included) might say or let others to think.
We are not "Byzantine Church". It is, funny enough, the so-called byzantine catholics who call their phony "patriarchate" in Eastern Europe, that way (they call themselves greek-catholic, lol).
"They hate coptics, armenians, and syriac orthodox because they are from the three council churches"
We do't hate them. We simply refuse to be in communion with them, as with the Latins, until they give up their errors and abide by the 7 Councils. It's called UNITY of faith, which for Latins is something secondary or of no importance at all. That's why this maronite commenting above has no issue with the "churches of 3 councils..."

The Catholic Church actually destroyed the Maronite Church and absorbed it's remnants into its structure as had other earlier church's before the Maronite church. The Arian creed of unity under the Council of Nicea in the year 325 AD under Constantine the pagan Roman Emperor, who later on his death bed converted to Christianity.

Read the History of the Church Brother... Constatine became a Christian during his conquest to power in Rome.
The Cross was seen as a Sign of Victory. He along with the 5 Patriach stood against the Arain Heresy. It is through the Ecumenical Council that the faith was developed. We have the Nicean Creed which is accepted by all Christians with regard to the affirmation of our Faith.
Though the Church is divided on Theology it's fundamental Teaching of Gods Love for us is stalled in any Denomination of Christain. We Believe and Affirm that our God is a Living God, A god that has dwelt amongst us, and we can experience is presence through the Divine Liturgy and Holy Qourbono (Eucharist).

If you’re referring to Jesus as your God ??
That would make him a Druze God !!!!
Jesus’s linage is that from the Druze as it has been scientifically proven..
Jesus is the manifestation of Gods highest emissary & a God or the son of god...

Mary & Jesus are from the Druze faith..
The Druze are not just followers of Jesus & Mary like the pagan Christians but are the righteous descendants of both by flesh and blood..
      Amen

We don't have a problem with copts, syriacs or even latins. But we dislike the intrigues and lies of people who want us to submit to a layman living in Rome. Rome is preaching heresy, and that was and still is the cause of the Schism. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
