    I'm an Australian Catholic.
    Not a Maronite.
I testify Maronite Catholics do outstanding charity work.
They feed the poor and homeless.
They clothe the poor and homeless.
They go out of their way to find those in need.
I have fallen on hard times and the Maronites brought me food and blankets.
I thank God The Creator and Jesus His Son for Maronites.
They are full of The Holy Spirit.
    Merry Christmas

They serve free food and place to stay for few days to any one from any part of world and from any religion without question. At Amritsar (India) over 150,000 eat free every day. John Maroun is not St. Maroun. John Maroun is the first patriarch of the Maronite Church who probably made it a church. It was only some kind of Syriac monastic order or an unofficial Christian sect before Rome appointed Him. St. Maroun is the Syriac Monk who founded Maronism, or the Maronite order, through his disciples. Although John Maroun is their first patriarch, the establishers of the church, according to the Maronites, are St. Maroun, Peter the Apostle (who is the first holder of all Antiochian bishoprics or patriarchates) and of course, Jesus Christ.

    • @Jeem196
      @Jeem196  Před rokem +5

The Byzantines saw themselves as the only true Christianity (this was pre-Schism) and they accused the Maronites of holding onto heresy. I believe they accused them of being Monophysites, saying they were in the same heresy as the Copts and Syriac Orthodox. It wasn't true however, as the Syriac Orthodox aka Jacobites had their own battles with the Maronites over perceived heresy. This, combined with the new arrival of Islam, is the reason the Maronites flocked to Mount Lebanon and converted the locals, instead of just being spread out in N. Syria

good video, but you have some information mixed up, as for the maronites originated from mountains of lebanon, and only St Maroun and st Jhon Maroun were from antioque (or Antakia), and at that time it was the state of Antioque and not Syria (there was nothing called syria back then). St Maroun (known as the father of the Maronite faith) came from Antioque to the Mountains of Lebanon with few followers (monks) after the big discussion of the nature of Christ and his identity that took place in Antioque (and there are a lot of discussion about the reason why he left), and that s in the 5th century. Later on in the 7th century, and after the followers of st Maroun started preaching around mountains of Lebanon and specially in Antioque and forming the monasteries, where st John Maroun was educated, and known as a highly strategical leader in religion and arm, and in that period in parallel with the arab expansion, St john Maroun, was known as the leader of the people, whilst the patriarch of Constantinople (today Instanbul), started losing control over Antioque and the rest of the East (what lead later to the clash between king of Constantinople and the St John Maroun). It s said that St John Maroun was the leader of the Maradites of the mountains, or mentioned in History as 'maradit mar youhana maroun', what later lead into St John Maroun to be 'Elected' as the patriarch of Antioque and the rest of the East (since at that time the patriarch used to be elected and not assigned), and he brought the skull of St Maroun (hemit mar maroun) and put it in the monastery of Kfarhay, and later to be known as st John Maroun the father of the maronite church and (this is imp) the father of the ideology that is 'the Mountains is and for ever be the home of the Maronite' , that is why the Maronite people hold that much power in the mountain, hence later in the forming of great Lebanon. Thank you for helping to clarify. I did however mention that today's Maronites are all from Lebanon, but that the original founders came from Antioch. I call it Syria because the general area has been called by Syria, Aram, and other names for some time, and that my audience will know obviously where Syria is. And yes, Maronite identity and politics is all based heavily on Jabal Libnan. That is why I made this video, Maronites are extremely different to your average Arab Orthodox or Catholic from Syria or Jordan. Maronites are essentially an ethno-religious group, they've just lost the ability of Syriac. If they still spoke it, people would see them like the Assyrians or Arameans

I returned thanks to Latin Holy Mass which gives proper reverence to God (texts of prayers are created in such a way), allows to focus more, ensures Transubstantiation happens all the time. While the rite of pope Paul VI changes idea of Holy Mass from sacrifice to party, allowed for abominations happening now. The Transubstantiation will happen is supposed to happen depending on priests intentions, not saying the right words like in Tridentina.

John 3:13 (Jesus said)No one ascended into heaven. but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which was from the heaven.
Matthew 5: 5 (and also Jesus said)
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Arabic language down👇 (interesting for marounite religion)
Jesus did not have long hair as apostle Paul said in. A.Corinthians 11:14-15
14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is an insult to him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is to her glory. for his hair is given to him for a covering:
Why do we grow old and die?
GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden.
God said to Adam: “The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” - Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die.
GOD'S PURPOSE WAS NOT THAT PEOPLE DIE.
God said to Adam: "Eat your bread with the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground from where you were taken. for you were dust and you will become dust. ”- Genesis 3: 17-19. As a result, “all the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years and he died.” - Genesis 5: 5. Adam did not go to heaven or hell. Or live in a spiritual realm.
    What is the Resurrection?
    The Bible's answer
In the Bible, the Greek word translated "resurrection" means "to stand" or "to restore." The resurrected person is resurrected from the dead and is the same person who was before. - 1 Corinthians 15:12, 13.
It is true that the word "resurrection" is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which are known as the Old Testament, but the promise of resurrection is there. For example, through the prophet Hosea, God promised: “I will rescue them from the hand of the grave, and I will rescue them from death.” - Hosea 13:14; Job 14: 13-15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12: 2, 13.
Where will people be resurrected? Some people will be resurrected to live in heaven. There they will reign with Jesus Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5: 1; Revelation 5: 9, 10. The Bible calls this resurrection "the first resurrection" and the word "first" makes it clear that there will be another resurrection. - Revelation 20: 6. That other resurrection will be for the living on earth, and most of the dead will be resurrected in this way. - Psalm 37:29.
How are the dead raised? God gave Jesus the power to resurrect the dead. - John 11:25. Jesus will bring to life “all those in the memorial tombs,” each with his own personality, attributes, and memories. - John 5:28, 29. Some will be resurrected to live in heaven, while others will be resurrected to live on earth with perfect and healthy bodies. - Isaiah 33:24; 35: 5, 6. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-44, 50
They multiply priests and saints with sad faces pile up, perform miracles, cast out demons. But Jesus said, The tree is known by its fruit.
    THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW
    7: 21-23:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and did many miracles in your name?' 23 Then i will tell them plainly that I did not know you at all. Get away from me, you workers of iniquity.
    Matthew 7: 15-20
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? 17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; and an evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Ye shall know them by their fruits.
    B. LETTER TO CORINTHIANS (Paul)
    11: 13-15:
13 For such are the apostles, liars, deceitful workers, impersonating the apostles of Christ. 14 And it is not surprising. because Satan also takes the form of a bright angel. 15 Wherefore, it is not a great thing that his ministers should be likened unto the ministers of righteousness. Their end will be in proportion to their deeds.
4: 4. In whom is the god of this world?
(Satan) blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ might not shine upon them, which is the image of God.
Eternal life is a free gift from God. The eternal punishment is not righteousness because how many years can a person live at most? Here, eternal punishment means eternal death. God is Love!
    Bible answers
    Ecclesiastes 3:19,20
19 for there is an outcome for humans and an outcome for animals, they all have the same outcome. As the one dies, so the other dies, and they all have but one life. So man has no superiority over animals, for everything is futile. 20 All are going to the same place. They all come from the dust, and they all are returning to the dust.
    John 3:13
13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven, but the one who descended from heaven, the Son of man.
    John 5:28,29
28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
    Psalm 37:29
29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it!
