broooo, I'm finally understanding(getting it) what the MPC workflow is.. What a nice experience.. It makes you think differently. I like that. Instead of working in a linear fashion, I get to work with pattern by pattern building.. I like this way of working because I feel I'm using my imagination more.

It makes you think differently. That’s the super juice then MPC work flow gives. And tot he point that making music is not a linear mind set. Just like making a movie, it’s all in random parts and then edited or complied together harmoniously.

This video, and another that you posted that I recently viewed, have really inspired me to keep my MPC X. I've been on the fence ever since I bought it back in 2017 and tried utilizing it together with my computer and as hard as I tried to make it all work, it just isn't as easy and inspiring as it ever was back in the old days when I had all my MPC's and even my Linn 9000. You've pretty much made me realize that the MPC X is a beast, yes, but it needs to be that tool that works the way YOU work and not in such a general manner like one size fits all. Thanks for the inspiration and thank you also for being one out of the millions I see that doesn't just use this kind of powerhouse device for Hip Hop or Rap. Great to hear someone making music on an MPC X with harmony and melody for a change and that doesn't just repeat for the entire song!

The battery is not a big deal, but the One needs an update to be able to put at least one really good plugin into it. They need to do that for the 3.0 update, whenever that comes...SBN RESONATE

Yes.... The midi is being played by the Fantom but recorded into the MPC sequencer. When he plays it back the MPC basically tells the Fantom what to play. Even though the audio is coming from a different place it's all synchronized by the MPC. If he were to change the tempo on the MPC the Fantom would be instructed to play those notes back at the new tempo. The possibilities are infinite.
