Not the 80's as I didn't get into hard rock/metal until '90 in high school. But after I saw Edison's Medicine on MTV Headbanger's Ball I was a fan of Tesla!
They are great, the bad thing is that into the now and all the records after are masterpieces, but not in the right time of cooperative music
Still have my autographed mechanical resonance album i won off V32. A local tv station here in Lakeland fl. Back in the 80s. Just looked at it yesterday as a matter of fact👍🤟🍻

I’ve been a TESLA fan since the first time I saw them live in 86 and it’s rare that a band can keep the sound that makes them famous but, TESLA has done it better than any other band I’ve ever seen and it’s always an amazing experience to this day and I look forward to hearing TESLA live every chance I get.
For Me It’s Like Going To Church because I’m uplifted and feel energized by their performances for months after the show.

I remember seeing them @ The El Dorado Saloon in Sacramento , when they were "City Kidd." Shortly there after, they blew up as "Telsa." Saw them open for Def Leppard @ the original Arco Arena.Local band goes on to do great things!!!!!
I was with you at that epic arco show. Was bad ass! Def Leppard gave them the whole stage. I got there at 10am was one of the first 20 into arco. Line wrapped around arco. GREAT TIMES they killed it
