I hope you continue the ST journey it's worthy. I would recommend going back to the beginning but at least listen to the TMBTE album from Chokehold to Euclid, song placement is perfect.

I will say, this song live... so much better. There's a piano solo and a drum solo live. It fucking kills me. I cannot stress this more. The drumeo playthrough of this is great, but the rest of the band is just a track. If you can find a good phone recording of this song live, I'd highly recommend watching it. Not only is II stupid good, but the emotion that everyone, especially vessel, brings to the song live is unmatched. They've even got backup singers that really pop off toward the end too.

on the topic of songs that are better live, I’d VERY highly recommend checking out their song Vore from the same album, as well as the live version (possibly in the same video?)

There are SOOOO many songs to react to. Earlier songs like Gods, Nazareth, and Jaws. I love Alkaline, Higher, Descending, And The Offering…which are different songs from their first two full length albums. Their latest album, Take Me Back To Eden is outstanding!! Along with The Summoning, there are numerous amazing tracks…Vore, The Apparition, Ascensionism, Euclid, and the title track. The whole album is great, those are just some of my favorites.
I know that’s a lot of suggestions, but Sleep Token is just one of those ridiculously amazing bands that will take you on a fucking musical journey(in an awesome way!) Thanks for reacting to them and sharing!!

Get ready for a journey. If you are gonna listen to their discography, I would highly suggest listening to their albums in chronological order. They tell one continual story that you will not be disappointed in experiencing. Worship and enjoy :)

They are a genre-less band. They use elements of essentially all genres of music throughout their catalog. Vessel, the lead singer and writer, has a wide range of vocals. In this particular album, he does not show off his higher falseto as much as their previous works. Definitely check out music from all their library to get how great his vocals are and also how dynamic II is throughout their discography.
I’m definitely down to dig much farther into their catalog! As thank you for clarifying their vocalist name!
