Great information. After hearing this I am more confident that the Endurace is the bike for me, especially hearing that it’s a perfectly competent bike on dirt roads.
Great interview and review of some pretty sweet gear. Thanks JOM and Jeremiah!
Love my Endurace!
Got the Grail 8.0 Di2 since Spring 2018, love it. Only thing soso was the wheelset but now sorted with 1350gr carbon wheelset :)
Just picked up a Lux. I'm not even sure I need a gravel bike anymore. Thing is a rocket ship. Liking Canyon so far!
Very helpful video. Endurace for me I think.
I have an Endurace CF SL for about three years, it has tire clearance up to 30mm on the rear, so it's not huge how the Jeremiah said.
I think it's more a very comfortable race bike than a multi-terrain bike, it also comes with 52-36 crankset, which is a huge difference to the Grail 2x models that come with 46-30.
Just got a Grail CF SL, it's pretty comfortable and a great option for bike packing/touring and a real all-terrain bicycle.
They must’ve changed the design then, because there’s multiple examples online of people running 35mm on the Endurace
Yeah also they changed the crankset to 50-34
Just subscribed to your channel. Great video and great information. I have a Canyon Endurace which I bought in 2017 before the Grail came out. Unfortunately, I don't ride often enough to justify a new bike. I've upsized my tires to 32mm and that helps on gentle gravel (car driveable), just wondering what you think about by switching my stem out to a Redshift ShockStop Suspension Stem?
The Shockstop stem is a nice addition to mitigate a little of the buzz from the road. It isn't a suspension fork, but it is a relatively cheap addition. I have a review on my website, use the search function to take a look.
