  • One of the biggest challenges people face is making the transition from an engineering role into a BIM role, and how to communicate that transition during interviews.
Since finishing my MA in Architecture, I have been offered BIM roles at very reputable firms and succeeded at every interview I have taken - in Nigeria, Italy and Canada.
In this video, I do a live coaching session with a candidate looking to make the switch from Architectural Assistant to BIM Coordinator. I offer practical advise on how to answer common questions and also provide tips to finetune some answers provided by the candidate.
PS: More coding tutorials are on the way! Have no fear!

    I found these tips helpful:
    - Bring the interviewer to a place of comfort, even when the questions are tilting to a problematic area. Always bring it in the positive.
    - Another is to give a technical response in a non-technical way. It speaks more to horning communication skills as a technical professional.
Overall, the video shares tips that can be used for any interview. The video also shared insights on the work that a BIM role entails
Thank you for sharing. Hopefully, the candidates gets the role.
    Thank you, @BIM mentor
