Today's makers are the lovely people at Moorlands Candles in Alston. They have made all of the seasonal candles for the shop, and now we have their beautiful beeswax candles for our Christmas boxes.
The Christmas boxes go on sale on the 8th of November at 7pm GMT, set an alarm to avoid disappointment.... There is a limited number and once they're gone they're gone! Join the mailing list on the home page of the website for news of shop updates

This video certainly gives us an more indepth understanding of what goes into making handmade goods, like the candles. Although, anyone who makes anything handmade will know that it takes time and patience it takes. Handmade items rule!

How fun to see the lovely candles being made! I wasn't sure dipped candles were still being made, aside from "olde days" re-enactments. I like beeswax candles for their lovely smell and easy burning. Thanks for sharing all these special videos!

That video made me sooooo homesick. I recognised every inch of that road as I drove part of it daily for 5 years. The thing that finished me off was seeing Ted cycling homewards... a sight familiar from the 90's when I volunteered for the Heritage Trust in the caravan based where the childrens playground now stands. How everything in some respects has changed yet some things steadfastly stay the same. Thank you x

I am so looking forward to this year's xmas boxes. This year will be the second xmas after my mum passed... She would have loved all the things in the box so much. So I decided to try and get one in memory of her and enjoy all the lovely things in her name. Last year I was too sad to think about anything like this. Love to all of you on the lime green sofa.. It's good to know you are out there

It is such a blessing to have these videos to watch each day. Seeing each of the things in the boxes made and meeting the makers has made these boxes very special. You and Anna (and your other kids) have all put lots of time and effort into these videos and it shows in the wonderful content and delivery. By the way Anna has beautiful eyes--very noticeable when you two are in the car. Having something like these videos to tune into each day right now is making the days easier and give me lots to think about. My only quibble is that CZcams is only allowing me to view these videos in 360p so they are a bit blurry. I used to be able to view them in 720p but that doesn’t seem to be an option in the menu anymore. Drat! I hope you all have a lovely day, or evening, depending where you are. Love this! I go to a festival most years and one booth sells beeswax candles and ornaments. I have a pressed beeswax Beatrix Potter mama rabbit in my kitchen, and I have fabric for bee themed curtains!
I'm loving these videos. I was going to save them all up to watch all at once at the end of the week, but I've got no self control lol. I will of course, binge watch them at the end of the week too xxx

I am new to your channel but love everything you do. My ancestors came from the North of England, ...200 years ago, but part of me still feels that should be home. I am enjoying your Christmas Boxes series immensely and hope to be in time to get one sent to South Africa as my Christmas present to me.
