Its the first time I was early enough to really follow along with an ARG and I loved being a part of the little PBhere community. I still feel like we made a few mistakes, but I absolutely loved this ARG. Thanks for making it, and I hope you'll make more projects like this in the future.

I really like the tone and art direction of this. While the main character's face is simple, it moves like a filter placed over someone's real face. The expressions and casual tone of voice sell PB as a real person. The camera, in the form of the phone, moves realisticly (yet smoothly) as if the character was really holding the phone. It's as personal, empathetic, and casual as a real person would be.

I actually love this outcome because it seems to convey that the audience and commenters cared more about PB as a character and protecting him, even in his limited lifespan, than they did about putting him in danger to try and hinder a larger evil. I think it speaks volumes about what a compelling character PB is and how well the creator used the medium to emphasize this kind of emotional connection.

Larger catastrophes are hard for us to grasp but "a friend in danger" is a lot more compelling to an audience
PB's voice actor is solid, man.
they make the character feel so real, it’s very cool but also gives me a very uncanny feeling lol.

I love this story and the character of PB as a whole. The side videos of him playing with the office chairs were so cute, and helped sell the sweet bubbly personality of this hapless clone
I watched the YT collection.. PB pinned that says that he's allowed to get a cat...I don't think we are done with the ARG..I. for one, am VERY excited!!

reminds me of an arg idea me and an old friend we had. (if someone sees this, feel free to go ahead and try it!)
so basically it’s a commentary channel, and when it started gaining traction we would do a “face reveal” where he does a Q&A but it progressively gets more and more personal as a “joke”. then, at the end of the video he takes off the mask he was wearing and come to find out he’s an animated character and he’s not real. then the rest of his videos are him trying to figure out his existence, we never got to far into it. but hey, if someone wants to do this, go for it. i’d love to see what y’all would do, i’m lazy and i have no motivation to do the idea

True story, I had a class in college where "Four Past Midnight" was one of the required texts. I think I was the only person in the class to have the book on day 1...and that's because it's one of the books I "borrowed" from my grandma when I was like 10 years old and (several years out of college) just haven't returned.

Fun fact the body/head/mouth animation can actually be done real time with a newish iPhone and computer software.
there's a handful of ARG accounts I've run across over the years on TT, a lot are hit or miss beginners but ones that really go out of the box like this, even if shaky at times, is just so cool for the ARG scene to keep evolving🥺👏

honestly, PB was not at all what i expected.
i expected something confusing and unsettling but instead i got a friendly guy recording tiktoks
this arg had a discord server that followed along with the creator and had a Q&A after if you want the audio recording I can get it
I love this channel so much, I'm starting to develop a psychic connection. I literally just thought "I think Night Mind uploaded" and then checked my notifications to see this.
So excited to see you put out a video on PBhere. It was such a fun ARG to follow along with and take part in. Also, for anyone who doesn't have TikTok, the CZcams account is still a great place to look for stuff regarding PBhere. There's also a lot of interesting discussion in the comments of the videos from while the ARG was running, and different people giving their theories on the meaning and lore of the world. I would definitely recommend taking a look through the comments if you have the time. There were a lot of interesting theories about it while it was running, and I'd have to imagine that there are even more now that it's finished.
I'm so honored to watch this story unfold from the very beginning. I love PB as a character, he's just the greatest :)

PBhere was such a cool project to take part in. As Loey Lane put it in her video (paraphrased), we have to live with the choice of the ending. It was *our choice*. I really enjoyed it, and I was eagerly awaiting your recap - thank you for this!
That story is terrifying! Oh my gosh I got chill when PB was just casually describing their cell and entrapment.
I found PBHere around 6 months ago so it's nice to see someone's talked about it
seeing you talk about pb made me really happy cause it one of the few args I was able to experience in real time and the only one I had been there from the start! anyways great video!
I remember when this first started. It was so much fun to be in the audience for this
Damn, dude, what a breath of fresh air! Convoluted stories have their place in the ARG scene, sure, but it's nice to find something that's so pleasant to experience. And the inclusion of exclusive content on Twitter and the website were really well executed; they didn't muddy the story or make the narrative hard to follow without seeing them. Audience influence is really hard to balance in a story with set plot points, but he did it so well.. like he didn't HAVE to respond to the person who asked if he could throw the chair, but he did - and without it being at the expense of the story. For real, his direction was SO good! Also, what amazing voice acting! So convincing that pink-skinned, square-pupiled PB feels more like a real person than humans who overdo their acting. And the subtlety between the two PBs is awesome. I could go on and on about the open-ended world building and the questions of morality.. The ending is really interesting because there's a sense of finality to our side of the story - we are left satisfied and not needing more - but you know that the story continues. Just absolutely amazing.
This is the only ARG I actually followed in real time. It was pretty interesting to see how this turned out

I was a part of this experience, for like the first time ever. It was really neat
It's neat to see how this ARG panned out, but I can't help but feel like more was meant to happen. What was the "Other being?" Why did the clone avoid the blue fungus? Where did the impostor come from, and where did the original PB go? Was the extranet suggesting that we're "crossing dimensions" in order to communicate with them? Why is the facility on lockdown? Why was the guy in a hazmat suit supplied with oxygen--if the air is toxic, why isn't the main character affected? Etc etc!
I went and watched the series. What happened inside the facility, why no one was there, why the dude was dead, what the lockdown was about were never answered. That sucks. There was an upload 3 weeks ago saying PB died though so maybe it will start up again.

here's what you need to make a good ARG or ARG like project, or creepasta slender man knockoff:
-a good mystery, thought out mystery with decent clues and a story that ties everything together with no superfluousness
-the ability to allow viewers to participate or share their thoughts and iddeas
-characters that are memorable and likeable or interesting
-a good payoff or satisfying ending
if you lack like any of these, then you failed
For a room with padded walls, PB's voice is drowning in reverb.

I remember being a part of the discord, there was a lot of arguing about the end and I feel like we got the ending tik tok wanted and not the discord, which, was frustrating. I often wonder what would have happened if the other choice was made
it's so nice to see a new video so soon after the previous one. I also love the work behind that animation of PB!! Gives you a new media to use for storytelling, which is really needed during this pandemic.
aight so i don't think anyone will see this but i found this really strange channel called "Classic GM Videos" which apparently is some old footage of gmod 9 that's being reuploaded to the channel. something really strange is happening in the videos and i think it's an arg or something.

This series reminds me a lot of Andrew Hussie's MSPaint Adventures series, which were webcomics made to mimic old point and click adventure games and took input from the readers.

Gosh this ARG really reminds me of the storytelling format of Quests. Someone waking up in a room with no memory of how they got there, taking audience suggestions and needing to solve puzzles to escape, that's very reminiscent of lots of Quests. I wonder if the creator took any inspiration from them.
