This was sorely needed, the official tutorials are always clear and consise. Glad there's an upto date one now that covers everything.
@@NativeInstruments ☝️that emoji looks like two chics are squatting down halfway while leaning on each others back with pants pulled down and squirting 🤷♂️
@@NativeInstruments ok one question.if we have for example an arturia minilab mk2 alongside with the maschine hardware.and activate the keyboard or chords mode.does the midi data goes into the maschine grid if we perform from the minilab/m32 etc?😁
edit: i own the mikro mk3 but also a minilab mk2 and i am curious if me or everyone actually can take the advantage of the scales and chords feature inside of the maschine.
I agree and Boris is an excellent teacher
can we create live loop like boss rc 505 loop station in mk3??
You guys started out using my demo song in the tutorial. I really was not expecting to hear that. WOW, Amazing!
Very cool, I bet you're humbled and honored

Congrats homie!
No permission you suppose to claim copyright infringement if you are the owner of the content,
To have an actual tutorial without stupid jump cuts, weird sound effects, unnecessary crap music with a long ass intro, stupid faces being made. As soon as I click into those type of videos I click out of them so fast when I notice stupidity happening.
Now this tutorial is professional, clear and right to the point.
Thank God for people like you! ✌🏻
So true - I found the online manual daunting - this is amazing
Been waiting 5 years for an official tutorial video. Finally and thanks
Sorry we're a bit late to the party 😇
This was a long awaited official tutorial. I've been using MK3 for 4 years now and still learning some crazy new stuff thanks to this video. Much appreciated :)
We're glad to hear that Berkin!
Can this device be used as a keyboard? Let's say I take it with me to my night shift work . Can I compose music on it? Thanks.
Yes you can. Maschine MK3 works like a controller designed for music production; although it doesn't serve as a standalone keyboard, it can seamlessly integrate with your computer or laptop to facilitate music composition during your night shifts. @@Rustam3469
What a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait for part 2. Nothing beats tutorials from the actual product makers.
Professor Mezga: After previewing over 1000 CZcams videos that involve teaching MASCHINE - as far as I am concerned you are the top and very best teacher of them all. Some I really like because of their fantastic charisma - sense of humor - very well editited visuals that correspond to what they are teaching - but what you do makes me feel like I am wasting my time when I watch anyone else. Why? Your pace is neither slow or rushed. You do not get lost in exposition of any detail - ever. Your use of words, structure of ideas, and truthful, sincere, and incredibly unbiased presentation - makes others seem like they need psychotherapy. Your teaching gift is absolute sanity and rational clarity. Instead of me having to sift through or tolerate some biased charisma: "Hey man - like this the MISTER-KOOL-BOSSMAN telling you the dope man on the BLAH BLAH BLAH" or "Gods of metal here - and for you metal mortals - I will show you the ultimate secrets of the metal apocalyse - so if you don't use Maschine - I am going to straigten you out BLAH BLAH BLAH" - and understand some of this culturally biased characters are brilliant and talented - but they have such a narrow view - I get annoyed with them - even though I still appreciate them. You are the only one out of the entire crowd that seems to be dead center when it comes to knowledge and wisdom first and personal preference bias - last. Most of the top professor chairs at the greatest educational institutions on this planet could not frame ideas - (no matter how smart and educated they are) with the CLARITY and CONTINUITY OF PURPOSE as the great "Professor Boris Mezaga". So here is my slogan for you: "When I present teaching about any subject commonly understood - I am successful because of the general experience of my audience - but when I teach anything that is complex and beyond the reach of the average student I am successful because I am "Boris Mezga!" Well done! You are my favorite example of a great teacher.
Very well....NO....that was excellence within a well said and Completely True comment of the this well needed praise or "Professor Boris Mezaga"
I’m here to be schooled. I have a Maschine+ that has been sitting for a bit. I’m waiting to learn how to use this from A to Z!
Thanks so much for doing this, this is so great!!! Boris is an excellent Maschine guide, his pacing is superb, he anticipates the questions I'm thinking, and uses excellent, usable examples. Nice shout out to Jef Gibbons, too, his deep dives and his artistry are top notch!
That was probably the most thorough intro to Maschine I've seen yet on the basics of getting started. I'm pretty familiar with Maschine but every now and then I watch these to learn something new I've missed. I picked up a few things from this tutorial and I thank you bro.
Really helpful overview. Jef’s Maschine videos are a great shout out too! He takes a deep dive into a lot of Maschine features.
MASCHINE !
what took you SO LONG, Native Instruments?!?
Great job, thanks to Boris and all of youz guyz
I needed this, thanks Native Instruments for the clear and concise tips. Love how the Maschine is still supported so well. Can't wait for the next videos :)
Thank you Louis!
This movie is a real gem.
I have been using Maschine for some months, I have made through many tutorials, but have never found so comprehensive introduction.
I have learned new things in every chapter - especially the things that need to press a button longer, press a shift - therefore are not visible at first glance. After the movie the Maschine seems not only the versatile tool (it already did), but also very easy-to-use. Such everyday tips making life easier are the things we all need.
Thank you very much, you are doing excellent job. I am looking forward to seeing next part.
P.S. Thank you for mentioning Jef Gibbons's videos - I am a huge fan, his masterclasses are also invaluable.
We're super glad it helped you get in the flow, thank you Piotrus for the amazing feedback 🙌
Is there a tutorial on how to load/import a track from a Daw, let's say Mpc beats or studio one INTO The Maschine as a track, scene or pattern so I can lay Guitar & other layers?
This is the video I wanted ever since I unboxed my Maschine. Thank you for your efforts Boris, great work!
Everyone: I like Native Instruments! But that whole maschine thing is very hard to understand!
Native instruments (13 years later): let‘s make a tutorial where we actually explain how that thing works! - Genius
Providing this much clear and direct tutelage for free, is why I just picked up an MK3 (and upgraded Komplete after years away).
Thank you, Native Instruments (and Boris!) for providing this series.
Holy crap I am so glad to find this on the official channel. Great stuff! I've been enjoying using my Maschine since I got it earlier this year, but was struggling to find a series of videos like this one that really breaks down the device and the hardware clearly. The manual is really great and I've generally been able to either find an answer to my questions in it or puzzle things out for myself, but video tutorials are a great way to learn. I even went as far as purchasing a third-party video course and found the instruction to be very difficult to follow even as someone who had been using the device for months already.
Boris is such a great teacher. His instruction is super easy to follow. I'm only about ten minutes and I've already learned several new things.
I have maschine + and am so grateful for these videos. I was feeling discouraged like maybe it wasn’t for me and I should sell it, and maybe it was just an impossible pipe dream or just not my gift, I am a complete beginner and you really really break these things down so well, a very gifted teacher. This is like a treasure trove of information. So so beyond grateful with these videos I don’t feel so alone, and like maybe it’s possible to learn and do something of value eventually. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤ and you make it organized for learning and easy to follow I don’t have to decide what I think I need to learn because you laid it all out. Thank you thank you thank you😊
never think its not for you. there are so many tools to pull out the ideas. cheers to you
I’m also starting with a Maschine Plus (I sold a lot of stuff to get here) little by little I believe
Daisy why don't you make him dinner? Like really really.... really like....(",)
I am about 6 months into using Machine . I love how easy it is to get started , but soo much to learn. If you guys read these messages , thanks for taking the time to make this Tutorial . I have watched all the other official videos and I am really happy to see more in depth teaching . -cheers
Great tutorial i've been procrastinating using my Maschine but this tutorial came in at a great time. Ready to go deeper and learn this awesome hardware! Stay inspired and motivated everyone!
So long we haven't seen you. Great come back. Please more of this from him.
congratulations I'm a maschine user since mk1 and if something has hurt me to see from then until now it's the amount of these instruments in the second-hand markets I had the opportunity to sell several maschine and to buy used and if something is clear to me it is many of those vendors was because they got lost in the use of this machine, many of them did not know how to use it, there are many videos here on this platform but few that teach well, many are rehashes of others. the important thing is that now it is done by YOUR, the creators!!! of such an incredible MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, DAW, SAMPLER, MPC, ETC. Thank you Native for such a wonderful video, we hope to see something like this from reaktor, Kontak, etc soon. I understand that selling course videos is lucrative and I think it's excellent, but you should still be the baton of them. Bless 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Seriously useful video for anyone with Maschine, this has sped up my work flow 10 times over and should help you out too. Thank you Boris and great video!!!!
Now that I likes! Can we please get a performance record mode please? Great tutorial by the way! The host was great!
Thank you so much! And note taken!
@@NativeInstruments Yeeeees, I would love to be able to connect it to my DAW and just record all that I am playing. Please Please, make it easy for us to create a full song.
This has opened my eyes to many different things, I have had my Mk3 about 2 years, and while I can use it pretty good, there's still much to learn and tricks to use!
Another good way to learn how versatile and powerful this Maschine is, go watch all the CZcams and other videos of people doin jams / performances with their Maschines .. it's amazing, I've seen them used with and as everything and every genre of music you can imagine !!
Thank you Boris and Native Instruments
I just can't stop loving this thing! It's fantastic and Boris makes great instructional videos. Great work!! :)
Thank you for the feedback Eirik!
Excellent vid required viewing for all Maschine newbies this tutorial is the best yet.
Really love this masterclass, Boris explains very well !
I’ve had the MK3 for 4 years and have struggled because I didn’t know some of the hidden detailed features until this tutorial. I’m glad the official company NI made this tutorial. Keep it up! Thanks again!
WOW, these videos were LONG overdue! But thanks so much!! they are amazing. I am falling in love again with my M+. You are a great instructor.
BORIS IS BACK ..!!
THANK YOU FOR 🙏 THE TIPS ..!!
super useful video for me since i'm pretty new to Maschine! and love that Jef Gibbons got a shout out!!! his videos are always very informative and he has a great teaching style.
Very good tutorial. Easy to understand, and very helpful information that i have not seen in other tutorials.
So, so good. There are lots of decent maschine tutorials, but nothing as clear and well paced as this.
Finally an official tutorial
The real deal 🚀
Please keep 'em comin' like you used to back in a day
I’ve had this mas home for years and have been looking for in depth tutorials on how to use it ever since. Couldn’t find anything credible and it was very disappointing. Thank you for this video. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!
I´m so so happy that you guys made this video! I love my mk3, but I´m sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff you can do to produce music. Thank you really much for this video and please please keep up the good support!
Is there a tutorial on how to load/import a track from a Daw, let's say Mpc beats or studio one INTO The Maschine as a track, scene or pattern so I can lay Guitar & other layers? I don't mean to bother I just haven't found the proper method yet. It's a drum track I programmed on mpc I'd like to get over into the Maschine.
I've had Maschine Mk.2 for YEARS! and never really controlled the software from the hardware because I never took the time to figure it out. Just recently got the Mk.3 and this tutorial is insanely helpful!!!! Learning so much already!!!
wow! at least we made it! the official masterclass. please more from this series, like how to build a track from start to finish only with Maschine!
Thanks for the feedback!
A full track with a vocal that goes across the whole song. and how you mix it down and transfer it to your preferred DAW
BORIS!!!!!! This is amazing!
Super tutorial, thanks!
This is dope, great work Native Instruments
Everyday I learn a new thing about this beast, Thanks for all
Everyday is a good day with Maschine 🧘
Fantastic!! This is just what I need!! More please!!
Part 2 coming soon!
Ура! Видео которого я ждал многие годы!) Thank's NI!
Great tutorial(s) by Boris / NI - really helpful and needed!
This is much appreciated. Thank you.
u are a dr sample and dr groove BOSS in one! ) thanks m8! now new times arrived with mk3 and machine jam!!! salute NI!
I actually thank you for this video. I have no idea why I am just now finding it when I should have found it years ago. It helps with the frustrating process of music creation on a new piece of gear.
Please ! More OFFICIAL TUTORIALS !! Thanks a Lot !!
This is gold!! Thank you! ✌🏻
Doing maschine+ good to know all this translates well. Great presentation.. when the presenter taps in those high hats with the note repeat, I was hella vibing. 😌🙌
This was long overdue. Thank you
This has to be the best tutorial that I have ever seen on youtube. Thanks so much for this.
This was fantastic. GEMS!
Finally some proper tutorial. Thanks NI and especially Boris 🖤
The best and the most educational tutorial on the internet. Loved! I own maschine mk3 for 4 years and im still learning.
Ps;: I WANT THAT FLAME MASCHINE WALLPAPER. 😭
* Im glad that no one wanted buying my my maschine, otherwise I would be regretting now.
Maschine is the best fun I had making music since learning how to play the guitar... an incredible instrument, my go-to!! Thanks for the tutorial as there's so much to learn!
Coming from a guitarist, that means a lot. Thank you!
Keep bringing the MK3 love, NI. I'm late to the Mk3 party! 🥳 TY, this going to be SO helpful!
I had the first MASCHINE and I loved it! I definitely want to get this one! 👍🏾
THANK YOU!! KEEP PUSHING THE BAR
Thanks ..I really needed this training
Ah! Just about to set this up and start using it. Thanks be to Gid for this video!!!!!
My first piece of hardware was a maschine. My next piece of hardware will be a maschine. Its the new MPC. Every track ive made has been with a maschine. Toast to maschine 🥂
finally... this has been much needed for years.
Holy shit, 1 hour video and it's part 1?! Awesome job, thank you
And the good news is... More is in the making! 🥁
Fantastic!! This was long due! Thanks so much…
THANK YOU, Mr. Boris !!! And Native Instruments!!
Thank you! 🙏🏾This was really helpful
Finally a video instruction straight from N.I that goes in depth with Maschine. Boris is awesome and this is very helpful! I would like to see fader automation within Maschine so that the end user could have the option of mixing everything within one app and avoid having to export to a preferred DAW. If we already have the powerhouse plug-ins why not give us automation on the faders? Just my two cents. Regardless, thank you for this series and I hope to see more in the near future as this piece of gear is so in depth. Yes Jeff G's YT videos are awesome and I learned a lot form his videos, but it's nice seeing it straight from N.I family, Thanks you Boris for making this happen. Cheers!
Awesome video, clear, concise, right to the point. THANKS!!!
Thank you for this!
Just got mine yesterday! What a fantastic device and great tutorial..
Danke Boris! Mega Video!
Really great video, thanks! Off to check out the next one.
Great tut.
Благодарю за подробное и понятное обьяснение для начинающих! Хорошая работа! Все понятно ..все по делу! Теперь точно попрет музон!!!!!!!!!🤘
My god you’re like an angel falling down on my maschine. All my questions’s answers are here in this very complete video. This is so clear (and i’m french educated) 🖤🖤🖤
Boris ! my man ! Comfort fit for president !
Subscribed!!! Awesome video 👍🏼
Great video! Love this 🙌🏻
Thank you!! NI always the best in the world
Now I am willing to spend more money on NI. I purchased Maschine last year but didn't really use it properly but now I finally learn what could I do with it.
Great to hear you look forward using Maschine at its fullest 🔥
I've used Maschine since version 1 and I even learnt a couple of things. Nicely done!
Please make an internal plugin like utility in Ableton, it's been overlooked for years and now we have a standalone version it's essential for Stereo/Mono Right/left use. Pretty please N.I!
+100
Seriously, NI! This is a HUGE killer for people sampling audio and want to only have one side to work with, for example.
THIS OFFICIAL VIDEO IS DEFINITELY NEEDED FOR MK3 OWNERS LIKE ME.
Hey and definitely me too!!! Ha Ha!!!!
Nice One thanks.
Please continue the development for M1 native support for N.I. Software.
Ok NI has just become my favorite music creation company 💚
Always great tutorials and videos for *everything*
🥺🙏
How I learned to love the Maschine. This video.
We're honored 💛 Thank you so much for the kind words!
Thank you, NI ! I am hoping upcoming parts of this series will cover using Maschine + / MK3 for live looping performance.
Great video, I took note of many tips throughout the video!
What a Great Video - Thanks
Super pédagogique. Learning a lot. Thanks
Bro mad respect. Thanks for this masterclass! 🔥
This is great! I’m already an experienced Maschine user but this was still helpful. I just ordered a Maschine + and I can’t wait to start jamming everywhere with it
Amazing to hear it also benefits to experienced user!
I really needed this ... like a month ago! Haha ... well, just figured out most of it, but there were some gems in here that were new. Looking forward to more from Boris ... love his teaching style. Hope to see some more advanced techniques too!
Better late than never 😎
thanks Boris . . . from ur guidance, pulled the trigger and got my M+ and happy
Thanks Boris.... 😘👍
Wow, this is so useful!
