- Music created using my Roland Jupiter X only.
Recorded as audio to Cubase, and mastered using Ozone Elements 9.
No other instruments and no external effects.
Standard preset drumkit for drums.
Bass using SH101 model.
Sound-On-Sound's reviewer, over and above the tech specs, remarked on how beautiful this synthesizer sounds. I could not agree more. Pretty much the nicest sounding synthesizer I have ever worked with.
Check out my video on how I came about to own one of these great instruments. - Hudba
Quel plaisir de vous entendre , c'est une vrai relaxation. Bravo. 😊
Merci!
Wunderschön gespielt! Vielen Dank für diese gefühlvolle, seelenberührende Musik!!! Ich wünschte, ich könnte das auch 🙂!
A beatiful arrangement of this original piece. I visit your channel because of the Roland Jupiter-X.
Thank you very much!
Magistral , un grand bravo et une maîtrise sans faille.
Wow!!Amazing touch to my soul!!
Sounds great!
Sounds great 🤘🎹
Nice. I love my Jupiter Xm. What did you use to sequence the bass and drum tracks?
I use Cubase Artist for sequencing. Programmed in via the keyboard in real-time using JPX stock sounds.
@@TonyDrake1960 Cool. I use Reaper with. my Jupiter Xm. Nice to use it as audio interface and that it will record midi as well as audio without an additional interface. Capturing each zone in stereo, the mic line, and the stereo output is VERY impressive.
@@revp01 That's fantastic! Reaper is great!
I am embarrassed to say that my computer still runs on Windows 8.1, and even though Roland's website provides a supposedly compatible driver for the Jupiter, it does not work, so I am having to go via a USB midi interface. I use an 8 channel audio interface, so it's all okay for now. I will have to update to a new version of Windows sooner or later, but my system is running really smoothly. It's an 'if it ain't broke, why fix it' scenario. 🙂
@@TonyDrake1960 I’m running 2 macs. 1 intel. 1 silicon. Reaper runs amazing on them. Jupiter and its editor work well on macOS.
Would love to know how you made that stoney rhodes tone and that solo tone
hey there, when I get a gap, I will try and show you!
sounds good @@TonyDrake1960
Awesome piece. Way to go man. have an xm and love it. However, I want a larger keyboard and want to add either a Jupiter x or Juno x. Anyone have any thoughts or is this just redundant or unnecessary?
Thanks for your kind words!
The Jupiter X has a very luxurious key-bed (I am open to correction, but I think slightly better than Juno X), so if you are looking for a premium synth key-bed, Jupiter X would be tops.
However, there will obviously be redundancy/overlap/duplication if you add a JPX to a JPXM. Juno would give you a bit more variation maybe and some different synth models. I would maybe consider a synth with a good key-bed/action that is more 'different' from the Roland sound palette, and which may compliment the XM's sound-set more and offer you more variety.
A lot also depends on what kind of action you like. For example, if you are a pianist, you may want a weighted action. Personally, I prefer a synth action for synths and organs.
The Jupiter XM may have all you need (I think it is versatile and sounds amazing), and maybe even a good quality midi-controller would work?
I'm waffling - hope this helps...
@@TonyDrake1960 thank you so much though decision I really appreciate it and enjoy your videos
how the drums change in different parts while you are playing?
Hello,
I am not using a loop function. I selected one of the dumkits available, and played the drum part in manually on the keyboard in real time on a midi track in my DAW.
