I love this firefighter scene. It's all the little details. The firefighter falling through the floor, while we know who's down there with him, but he doesn't. When the other one reaches to grab his hand, we know who's going to grab him, he doesn't. Great tension.

Probably one of my favourite michael myers scenes, they way he just calmly walks out of the house while it's burning down around him, stands on the porch then proceeds to walk towards the firefighters, the pressure coming from the water hose would knock anyone back, but michael myers is just anyone
He just keeps getting more powerful with all the wounds he received and more when he kills . He’s unstoppable.

Most brutal version of Michael
In the past we’ve seen him kill 1 or 2 people in the shadows, now he’s killing 12 people out in the open
The way he kills more fire fighters of that scene was pure entirely badass Myers is so brutally in kills whatsoever.
I really felt bad for the firefighters, but damn that was a cool opening lol

This may sound like me defending Halloween ends and I kinda am cuz I really love the whole entire trilogy
The way they handle Micheal is honest to god fascinating. Risky? Definitely. But to me at least it was honestly the best step as the 2018 and kills films set up the idea that, yes, anybody CAN become Micheal myers. It’s what I love so much about Corey, as damn horrifying as Micheal is here, it also explains a lot in why he’s weaker in ends. And yet even then when he gets encouraged to kill and does so, it’s like this thing he hasn’t done in so long finally gets done and, while weaker from so much damage on one night and the days before it, still strong enough to kill. Now sure he didn’t kill much people as the light more so goes to corey, and I don’t see that as a bad thing either in my opinion. Partially because of that junkyard scene alone which made Corey from an already interesting character who mimics Micheal’s movements and such, into full on engaged with the character as that scene COMPLETELY displays the more aggressiveness and mobility this guy has because of how he’s younger compared to Micheal.
I really love the damn series, sure it can have its flaws but this David Gordon green trilogy is so damn good

One thing that always bugs me is that there is no visible transition from the aged mask on 2018 to the burned mask in Kills. Yes it’s the same mask but burned but to me it always appears like he put on a new one cause we never see it get burned it’s just boom burn marks. I wish we saw his mask catch fire in the end of 2018 or better yet, he had flames coming off the mask when he kills those first two firefighters and then it’s sprayed off with the water hose by the third firefighter. That would’ve been cool imo

He's always been 'playful' with his kills. In 78 when he placed the Judith Myers headstone on the bed Lynda was. Pinning Paul against the wall and placing him and Annie strategically for Laurie to find. Then in Halloween 2018, with the baby sitter under the sheet, the boyfriend once again pinned against the wall with a knife, the cops in the car, and Karen's husband. And many others on Kills. Nothing new here
Not saying it's routine to fall through the floor of a burning house, but imagine you do, you're going through the motions, trying to remain calm, giving your squad information and then a hidden door opens and local legend Michael Myers is just standing there staring at you.
This movie was so frightening and eerie.

So great. I love when the firefighter extends his hand down into the smoke. You just know what’s coming and then you see Michael in the reflection.

I do like the transition of cutting the ending and opening together or in this case the lack there of. But it’s apparent H2018 is more atmospheric and Kills is just pure chaotic Michael Myers murder rage fit 🔪

The music OMG! its like an extension to the original theme song. I absolutely adore it!! Specially on kills on the mob scene how it snapped when he picked up the mask from the pavement. This is the first time i realise the same music was on Halloween 2018 cuz of this clip ❤

I don’t really understand how Michael really had the power he did in Halloween Kills. He got half his fingers shot off, his wrist slit, his face shot, and he got beat up by Laurie. Then he was burned. Then he came out and took a firehouse to the face and killed a whole crew of firefighters and then later in the film he was literally impaled with a pitchfork and they still wanna argue this man is human.
HE is somewhat...human but high in possibility to the nature of which created.
But you really fans are gonna want to see their all time favourite slasher be beaten to a human level?
Why HE isn't is what makes HIM scary in bc everybody expect HIM to die like any other human due to being the shape of one, but HE isn't even 20% human on the inside, outside may look and be... but that's just the fooling shield that the preys fall for. Those firefighters didn't know who Michael Myers is. Most of them look between mid 20s to 30s so either their parents told them about 1963 and 78 and what HE wore or bc they heard the loud eerie scream inside the flamed house to see a menacing man figure emerge out with a weapon that they use so to assume they're a firefighter killer in general so had to defend themselves for that reason.

@@thatfishguy4991 David Gordon Green and especially that JACKASS Danny McBride put that BS out that Michael being an unstoppable force wasn't scary to them. While that's exactly what made Michael originally terrifying.
Back in 1978 there were no Zombie Jason, Freddy, Terminators, Evil Dead, or unstoppable killing machines. There was only Michael Myers. And the ending of the original Halloween movie is what influenced ALL the modern day slasher and unstoppable killers. The moment Dr. Loomis shot Michael SIX TIMES forcing Michael to fall off that balcony, and Michael got up and walked away. That moment was forever ingrained in film.
That was the catalyst for the next decade and a half of horror. Everything that came after Halloween was basically a copycat. It was later on that "the unstoppable killer trope" was played out.
But that's what DDG and that schmuck DMcB forgot:
Michael was always intended to be, as John Carpenter originally said it; "A Force of Nature." And, "The Personification of Evil."
The true Halloween fans know this.
So the writers and director had to back peddle and make Michael a unstoppable force rather than a mere mortal in H (2018) and HK.
But I guarantee they'll contradict themselves...yet again, and kill Michael like he's a regular guy in Halloween Ends. 🤦♂️

I think Michael Myers. Him vs Jason or Freddy. I don't know.
Leatherface is just a normal human.strong and with a chainsaw but if Michael stabs him in the head or something it's over.
In comparison... Myers has more combat mobility and speed alongside HIS strength level, Leatherface has pure instinctive skill to the use of a mallet and chainsaw, has a level of strength but nowhere near Myers capacity. HE wouldn't even need the knife. Leatherface is a man nothing more, so a neck twister is all that's needed. Even being shot once will too do it.

The film would have been a little better if they had removed the flashback part in 1978 which is useless, and that the beginning of the film picks up directly where the 2018 film left off, which is Laurie's house burning down. !
