Update: I'm closer to God than I've ever been before. It's always a new battle every day to choose to spend time and stay close, but I want to thank everyone who's responded to this comment and who have prayed for me. God answered every one of your prayers and they've kept me going from when I posted this comment until right now. Jesus is the king of my life, and no one can be close to God except by Him. I know He is real, and I know my God answers those who call on Him.

Lord Jesus, help this young man to know you Lord. Lord hear his heart and honor his desire to come closer to you. Lord give him a desire to read your word and to pray and spend time with you Lord. Let this seed that is planted in him grow God. Send people in his life to nurture him spiritually and help him grow. God your word says one man plants another man waters but you will give the increase. I pray your increase Lord. Lord keep the hand of the enemy away. Put your mighty angels of protection around him. The enemy is going to try to pull him back away from this decision he is making for you Lord. Help him to trust and lean on you to bring him through this fight for his soul Lord. Wow, Lecrae is bringing those that are not "in the church" to church, he is getting young people interested in what he is singing about. He is digging in the pits for souls!! He could have broken into the secular rap community, but he loves God! Although he may not have a "traditional" look, or "traditional" sound that's not necessarily a bad thing, times have changed, but God has not. He loves his children and he is using Lecrae and the many other Christian rap artists to bring them to him.

I've always loved hip hop and rap and now I can have it all! Definitely got a lot of negative vibes from the lyrics of rap music but the beats were so good and some of the flow was so slick it's so slick and it is so cool now to find it With this kind of message behind it. Wow, just found out about this guy the other day because someone on Facebook shared his freestyle on shade 45 so I looked him up, I found this song on soundcloud and I CANNOT stop listening to him, it's kind of telling me to do more research on God and my creation, I don't believe fully yet, but I feel like when I listen to this guys music, it's telling me too.
This is what I love about lecrae. He gets the message out without harassing people and does it well. But God is truly amazing! Accepting him as your savior would be amazing! I'm not saying there want be no flaws, but keep strong in faith and God will deliver. I don't know, I mean every time I try and look up answers for my questions and what not, they just don't make sense, and I just have so many questions and I don't know what to do with them, I feel like if God was real, I'm not doubting his existence, that this whole life is like a game, like why pray if he already has a future planned out and it can't be changed? And why pray for him to show himself if he already knows the time that that's going to happen? And what about all the people he created that are literally just growing up as cold blooded killers and, does he use people like that just to show how bad the worlds getting? I don't get it. I feel like this is all a game? Can anyone explain this to me please? I'm also joining the Marine Corps in about a week or so, and I've wanted to my whole life, so what does he say about that? I mean, I'm going to enlist either way, but there's just so much and it's SO HARD to believe that he's there, like I want to believe but it's so hard and what if someone else wrote the bible? What if everyone who said they believe just ended up dying and nothing happened to them? I mean why would Jesus come 2 thousand years ago when there wasn't any cameras or anything? Is it all for trust? Because it seems impossible for me, and like I said, doesn't he already have a future planned out for us? So I'm saying like if someone told me to pray, he already knows when he wants to show himself right? Or am I wrong? Because some people probably go their whole life without feeling the presence of God. Idk if I'm the only one that thinks this way or not..

I have seen some NOT all of the comments on here. I do believe everyone has a right to believe what they so choose to believe. I was once a satanist. I have done horrible things in my past however I am now a Christian. I am a NEW creation in Christ. People often say well how do you know God is real. I know because I have a personal relationship with Him. He speaks to me constantly. All I know is this if we ( Christians) are wrong than what have we got to loose, BUT, if we ( Christians) are right in our beliefs that GOD is the only way to eternal life then look at what we are going to inherit. I do not bash anyone on their own beliefs that is why we were given free will But it is time Christians stand up for Christ and do not be ashamed and do not bash those who believe differently that you do. Pray for your enemies.
