Beeman Manibalan Sandai street play portrays all have equal powers and no one is greater than the other. The story has been penned in the way that Draupadi asks Bhima for Saugandhika flower and Bhima travels in search of that flower. On the way though he gets trouble from Hanuman, Hanuman guides the exact location of the flower. As the flower was in Kuberapatinam, Bhima plucks the flower without any permission from the kingdom. Due to the act of Bhima, Kuberapatinam Kingdom gets angry and starts to fight with him. Especially kingdom's chief commander Manibalan fights with Bhima. In the end though Bhima won the fight, Lord Krishna breaks his hauteur through these incidents.
