Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask on Relaxed Hair

  • I've seen everyone raving about Aztec Healing Clay on natural hair, so I decided to try it on my relaxed hair. I've always used the bentonite clay mask or aztec secret indian healing clay on my face for years, but never on my hair. The aztec clay mask is said to revive damaged hair, curls, and serve as a serious deep conditioner for your hair. But, what about chemically treated and relaxed hair?

    Girl you look gorgeous! I have texturized hair with natural roots growing out. I used bentonite clay and acv and it also made my hair super soft. You’re the first vid I’ve watched of someone who isn’t natural trying this out. Thanks for the vid. It was reassuring to see someone else with processed hair try this out. New sub!

      Clays work great! I've washed my hair with clays for over a year. They clean your hair, remove toxins and condition your hair. Just make sure you put enough on and leave it for at least 15. The apple cider vinegar lowers the pH level of the clay to the right pH for the hair and scalp, it's very important and will make the hair a LOT softer.

  • @leggs4113

    • @janinedear-barlow

      The apple cider vinegar lowers the pH of the clay to the right pH level for the hair and scalp. It would have made the hair way softer.

      @janinedear-barlow Před 3 lety

      Apple cider vinegar lowers the pH level of the clay to the correct pH level for the hair and scalp. It makes the hair so much softer. You don't need to use conditioner after as the clay conditions their hair and removes toxins. Green Beauty CZcams channel explains how it works and the science behind it.
      I would highly recommend washing your hair with clay. Personally I prefer rhassoul and kaolin clay over bentonite clay as bentonite can be drying. Half a cup of rhassoul and half a cup of kaolin to one cup of water. I teaspoon of acv and a bit of oil. Apply on wet hair and leave for 15 to when it dries.

    I wash my hair with clays and have been for a year. I get the clays. I prefer rhassoul and kaolin clay to bentonite. Bentonite clay as a lot more drying.
    I use half a cup of rhassoul clay and half cup kaolin clay to one cup of water, to a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a bit of oil. You can use less for less hair as I have a lot and it's to my bum.
    The apple cider vinegar will bring down the pH level so that is right for the hair and scalp.
    The reason you don't use metal is because you want to you want the clay to remove the metal and toxins from your hair and scalp not the things you are mixing it with.
    I don't understand why you said you could feel pulsing???
    You can leave it on anywhere from 15 minutes to when it dries.
    You did not put enough on. You don't need to use shampoo because the clay cleans it and you don't need conditioner as it detoxes the hair and conditions it.
    If you want to learn about the science behind it and how it works have a look at the video about it on green beauty.

    • @VictoriaVaden
      @VictoriaVaden  Před 3 lety +2

      It sounds like you took my video in a negative way. I enjoyed the experience using clay (mentioned at 3:15), it was just very different. I filmed this video because (at the time) I did not see other women with chemically relaxed hair filming their experience. I also mentioned that I was pregnant in the video, so my experience is going to be vastly different from another pregnant woman or another person in general. The pulsing sensation I mentioned was quite enjoyable (2:24), and similar to the tightening feeling that I get every time I apply the clay on my face. I thought I mentioned this in the video but I felt the need to shampoo it out of my hair because all of it was not fully rinsing out of my hair. I used more than enough because my hair was saturated in it and thought my results were amazing (as mentioned at 3:02). I do appreciate the science in not using metal. That was extremely helpful, and I'm sure other viewers will appreciate the intellect. Thank you for watching, and providing that insight! :)

      @@VictoriaVaden no not in a negative way at all. I'm saying using clay on hair is fantastic.
      When rinsing it out of my hair I use the shower head and then stick my head in the bath to get it all out, otherwise I can feel it on my scalp. It cleans the hair and scalp so well.
      I can't feel pulsing at all, even when it's on my face.
      Your welcome 🙂 you should do a video using the other two types of clay.
