    Chorus:
Loving her was easier than anything I'll ever do again
Waking in the morning to the feeling of her fingers on my skin
Wiping out the traces of the people and the places that I"ve been

It’s March 3, 2022. Our world is a mess. An utter, complete mess. I’m so sad. I come to videos like this because they remind me of a childhood when I was happy and free. My heart breaks knowing my children will never understand what it feels like to not be tied to technology, when kids played in the streets and came home for supper, a few channels on TV, when the nightly news was NEWS... and old shows with music and laughter brought families together once a week. Saturday morning cartoons and soccer games. When burgers, fries , and ice cream were a special treat.... and .25 cents.
I’m full of tears today. I yearn for the beautiful life of not that long ago. For myself, for my children, for all of the worlds children.

I love the little stares they give each other at times. What background stories were going on. Can you imagine the jam sessions...

Sure wish there was more of "the makings" caught on tape for us to enjoy. But it wasn't like now and everyone was carrying a video camera around with them.

@@evelyngallagher5893 Johnny and Waylon are in Heaven jamming with all the greats: Roy Orbison, Hank, Jimmy Rodgers, Duke Ellington; Count Bassie, Frank, Sammy and Dean, John and George, Janice, Jimmie, Ella, Louis, and so many more.....they are saving a spot for Willie and Kris. Trust and believe.

Their pure joy of being together, singing, is palpable. What naturals, and what a fabulous combination!

The way Willy plays this and his singing gets my vote for best rendition of my favorite song. Magic.
