Love your videos, love your soul. Keep them coming.
I get a lot of good tips. I'm going to share one with you as a Jane of all trades..
Now hear me here...😊 😂
Yes sandpaper is a must-have, another must have is nail files, go to your local Sally's Beauty Supply or whatever you have in your state and they will have any grit, the soft foam ones, the hard Emery boards, metal files, snub nose, point nose you name it. BONUS Emery boards are much cheaper than sandpaper. They help me get a straighter line everytime. Great for getting into little spaces, easy to handle. Every nail file has at least 2 sides, some of them have 4 sides with 8 different grits on one board. You can have all different grits of sandpaper right in your hand and not have to keep switching out either. 🤷
✌️❤️

Cornelius I AM new o power carving and have been watching you videos and learning a great deal. you open the carving a perfect star with a shot of your work desk. it looks like you have created a lazy susan to place the piece on while carving. I would recommend a video on that item and also about the benefits of using a downdraft box or table to help with dust control. these would help us newbies! so in depth discussion on the lazy susan and some details on building it. great idea using a shelf liner to help hold the piece in place. Please keep up the great work and helping to introduces us new guys to this art.
I appreciate your way of thinking!

Thank you for explaining, terrific instructions. Also, I like your working table. Where did you get it, bought or DIY?
great vids -thanks from a beginner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you are enjoying them!
I have a very similar easel and I just love it.😃💙
Awesome!
I love your videos. Such a great teacher! I have a stump in my back yard that I would like to carve on as a memorial. Can this be done and what can I put on the wood to preserve it?
Excellent technique tips
Thank you man! I appreciate it!!
Fantastic tips about the best direction to move the tool and how to rough it up. Love the texturing on both pieces!
Glad it helped you!
Very useful
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello Cornelius, what a fun and instructive videos you make. I've used a few now. what I wonder is the rotating table construction, did you buy it or did you made it yourself and if so do you have a tutorial for it so I can imitate it or maybe even better to spend a video on it so other members can make one too.
Best regards Dorothy Vedder Belgium
Great videos you got yourself another subscriber
Glad you are enjoying them!
Nice techniques
Thank you! Cheers!
Everytime wonderfull.
Thank you!
Your awesome.... keep being you brother
~pooch~
Thank you bro!! 🤛🏻👍🏻
This Video Must Be Fun To Do. And How To Learn About Things
Yes sir!
Btw good tips
I've used a dremel for years, and I learned a lot watching this video ... "Awesome!"
So glad the video helped you!
I also would like to know about your carving stand. Thanks for your videos!
Thank you again for your tutorial! I know that you don’t recommend carving pine. What about poplar? Is that hard enough? If not, what cheaper woods do you recommend for a beginner like me?
just an additional thought regarding use of the lazy susan turn table for a sanding or carving platform. Have you considered adding a small drill press vice on top of the turn table to hold the work in place and free up one hand while carving or sanding?
Please share the information for your rotating tilt table. Thanks!
Amazing,i want to learn to u to became the best carpenter sir
Thank you sir
Hi
Thanks for the tutorial
I would like to ask how could we ensure that the depth carved is even?
Great video, where did you get the rotary table at ???
Love the how to's brother, but we need to know how to make that stand! keep up the amazing work
Hey there! Thank you man! I bought that from someone but I will get some blue prints fixed up sometime!
Video well done!
Robert Held had the same question I have. What information can you give us on the Lazy Susan carving table used in this video?
At :30 I like those hatchet heads in the background.
Thank you! I like them too! Haha
Loving your tutorials.. They are self explanatory and really in depth.. can you add what's the RPM you keep while operating the flex-shaft. That extra small info will help beginners like me to become more perfect.. :)
I will have a video out soon covering that. The rpm's are dependent on the wood you use
Cornelius Creations thanks Cornelius 😊
Great video, did you make that revolving table yourself or was it purchased, if you did make it are there any plans at all, have a nice day !!! Brian UK .
That rotating angled stand you're using - I can't find that mentioned anywhere. Where did you get it please?
Hi, thank you for your great job, but can you tell each tool do you use to do the star? I would like to buy, those is very useful for carving.
"Cover up mistakes with other mistakes" this is how life goes, but it still sounds great as a sentence xD
I am interested in the turn table you are using. Did you make it? If not where did you get it?
Hi Matt did you make the turntable yourself. If you did could you do s video on it
Alan
Wow. You should offer a complete beginner kit for those of us who are serious (therefore want all items necessary) and beginner meaning (the less expensive version to get us started making money to afford the better stuff later)
Hmm, I will give his some thought!
Could you use a hand held multi grinder for this
What is better option. Dremel type or hanging motor? I'll used on small details
Where did you get your work surface….really like the angel surface
I am curious about the stand you are using. Do you have plans for that?
I am new to carving. I was looking for the tool extension you are using. May I ask where you got it, I have small woman hand?
Did you make that little table top thing your using? If you bought it where.?
Great vid
Glad you enjoyed it Carlos!
Very helpful! Im heading to the hobby store to get some of that wood you use. Thanks again.
Right on!
Hi. Do you have instructions for the lazy Susan table you are carving the star?
Where did you get your stand for carving? Did you build it? Are there plans?
Foredom Woodcarving tool. Do you have to have the kit or can it be attached to a Dremel as a flex-shaft?
Thanks for another great tutorial. What is the rotating platform you are working on?
Glad you enjoyed it! I cant find exactly where I got it at but here is another place! www.pyrographystore.com/store/p217/Portable_Rotating_Easel.html
Great Video thank you form Peru , south america .. question were can i get the little table ( round ) it is great >>>
Thank you! www.pyrographystore.com/store/p217/Portable_Rotating_Easel.html
Hey man, we've got a lotus rotary tool last week, we cant afford that dremel eh. Hehe. Thanks for your videos it helps us alot on carving as beginner.
Hope to notice me. 😎
Glad you are enjoying the videos!
I just got a wen to help me try this out. Along with a whole bunch of wood pieces from Dollar Tree's new Crafters Corner. I was really hoping to find their newest wooden articulated snake. I think that would be neat to add scales to.
It's all fun and games until you ask yourself how did you got the wooden star and where did it came from or who gave it to you?(Btw thank you for teaching us)
That rotating stand looks interesting. Is it something you've made?
My wife heard the bit about covering your mistakes with other mistakes and wondered if I'd made the video!
Very helpful ... Thanks
They are easily made but I actually ordered this. Makes things a lot easier! Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@CorneliusCreations - Where did you order this?
Where did you find that woodworking easle? I can't find one anywhere! :(
What is that base/table that your using?
What material is the top of this rotating table?
