Dogs, plural. Several relatives of the main dog London also played the part of Hobo.

It's either Hobo or Beachcombers. I think I used to watch them back-to-back on Sunday afternoons. But my childhood memories are not what they used to be. I remember CTV was Hobo and CBC was Beachcombers. Can't decide which one I liked better.

every ep is different even if a set up is simular the answer to the problem gets solved a lil differently then before
the problems range from Reuniting Couples, Solving a Crime, Helping someone in trouble, or full out SAVING SOMEONE
And The Problem Causers varies too from other Animals to People To the Unexpected element of Life
The Dog Solves the problems or guides the people to the answer thats needed
there's 6 seasons
theres also two series 1963-1965 series and the 1979-1985 series
If memory serves me right here the one people grew up on the most up in Canada was the 1979 Series (anyone who knows more please feel free to correct me)
And before asking if its just the same dog in all these location or multipul the Two Parter called "The Genesis Tapes" from Season 5 had that same question and tried to answer it

Im only 27 so Im too young but this got recommended to me and it makes me sad watching it cos i love dogs and just to know the dog isnt alive anymore, obvs the dog wouldnt be lol but still makes me sad
This one show shaped my life! Terry bush 👏 what a song. Thank you. This is what is missing in modern day society. As a kid i believed in dogs as an adult I still believe. As much as I hate remakes of old shows, this one really needs to have a comeback!

Trailer park boys brought me here. Didn't know it was the theme song for a show.The slowed version on the end of season 12 is so beautiful and makes me tear up and I sung it a lot
This was a 60s TV show in Canada, the pilot 1958. All those episodes are on the tube, including 1st color.

Got here from the stint on Corner Gas with a similar story line to the original 'Littlest Hobo' show. Jan 2021 now is a long way from when this show was on our televisions!

From 1975 to 1985 this is more or less I do recall starting with "Flipper" the dolphing, Batman, The Paper Chase, Swat, Starsky and Hutch, El Zorro, M.A.S.H, The 6 millón dollar Man, Kojac, Hawaii 5-0, Kung Fu, The Love Boat, Green Hornet, Magnum P.I, Falcon Crest, Dallas, Lost in space, Impossible mission, different strokes, Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Bewitched, Baa Baa Baa Black sheep, Candy Candy, Lassie, Rin tin tin and now this beautiful video with London, ohh lord have mercy I was only 12 years old kiddo watching on TV black and white this stuff when I saw it on 1980's, tremendous memories of my childhood, thanks for upload it, greetings from Virginia, The United States of America.

I haven’t heard this in what 15-20 years.. don’t even recall ever watching this either mind. Last couple of years I occasionally keep whistling it at work… god knows why. Had to try find it.Good little jam though!

Definitely reminds me of my childhood and there was a situation where something like his adventures happened to me - My friend in Kuwait found a stray German Shepard and gave him to me to keep . He ended up leaving somehow so I drove all over Kuwait looking for him with no luck . I did however notice someone had dumped a spitting image of him on the side of the motorway so I got out of the car , walked up to him and tapped my chest . He immediately jumped on me giving me a hug so I took him home . My dad knew he wasn’t the same dog but when I showed him what he did we kept him ever since and he was also a smart German Shepard.

That feeling when you watch TV through a car windshield
I was 5 years old when this show first aired in 1963. I could never remember the name of it (too many great, family-friendly shows then!) but I remembered Hobo and how he did good deeds. Unfortunately, the song doesn't trigger a memory for me. It makes me nostalgic for the great childhood I had.

This was also a series in the 1960s AND in one of the episodes in the 1980s it was more than implied that the dog is the next step of canine evolution and IS the same dog, longer lived. An amazing series, the likes of which we shall never see again.
