- Hobo befriends a three-year-old girl who goes missing in a sparsely-populated area. Hobo later uses his friendship with trucker Sam to return the girl to her overjoyed parents.
It's so heartwarming to see a dog save lives and do more. He's a highly specially-trained dog!

I used to watch the older version of this program back in the 60's. London reminds me so much of a german shepard we had when i was little. His name was Duke and he was my best buddy growning up. We lost Duke when I was 6.
That rythmitic, thumpity-thump exit beat into the closing credit theme is one superbly orchestrated tune in itself. Always remembered it when I first watched this in the UK aged 15. The Littlest Hobo my No.1 Canine Hero. Brilliant storylines and memories.
The intro was the best part of this serie

this was on childrens TV in the UK in the 1980s, it made me cry and still does, this episode i can clearly remember, i found it scary as a young child.

also, im surprised it took so long for the little girl to talk to Mr Hobo here, usually the humans, but especially the kiddos love to talk his fluffy ears off and he loves to listen, if a bit multi tasking in his listening. i wonder if this was a choice because the man is retelling a story he had limited details on?

That bridge in the theme that the Hobo runs across is probably near the Zoo or Reasor Rd in Cedar Grove... they shot alot of the shows near The zoo and in Markham.
the little boy is christopher crabb, he played 'jonah' on the other canadian tv series DANGER BAY.

These new episodes from’79 really suck. I used to watch the normal Littlest Hobo in the ‘60’s. It looks more professional, and the theme song is 10 times better.
Perhaps but maybe because you grew up watching it from then but others like us as kids watched the 70s and 80s version so I teared up when I heard the theme song today after so many years!
It was soooooo bad! Watching this now is hilarious. It's like a car crash. I can't look away.
