I traveled from Texas to Amsterdam to see this show. The sensation I felt when they played, and brought this music to life right in front of me, was overwhelming. I felt close to tears through much of the show, just from sheer joy at the beauty of this music played so well live, and from all the memories entangled in that music - the soundtrack of my life. What a night!
Yep. I'm from Pittsburgh and made a point of seeing them in Antwerp when we were in Paris/Belgium in Fall 2019. Saw Abbey Road performed on the exact date of its 50th anniversary. Just an incredibly moving show for those of us of a certain age.
Knd2000 I feel you brother. First time I saw McCartney in Dallas in '14 as a surprise musical gift from my daughter Emily I cried, felt, cried, felt, in disbelief that I was actually in the presence of a Beatle singing those timeless songs.
I watched a video where one of these guys mentioned: "We try to preserve the original sound for coming generations, the way orchestras play Bach or Mozart for coming generations" This is remarkable, they've made huge research to come up with the original sound. These musicians deserve a lot of respect!
These guys are doing for The Beatles what philharmonic orchestras do for Mozart and Beethoven. Recreating the music with absolute honesty, accuracy and integrity.
I just happened to stumble across 'The Analogues' the other day, while killing time at home, in quarantine with this crazy virus turning our lives upside down. I never knew they existed ... What a magical experience ! I listened to the Beatles incessantly back in my teenage years and know every song inside and out. What a treat to watch these videos and hear the music, all these years later... These guys are the real deal, their respect for the music and dedication to recreating the Beatles experience is unbelievable. I'm not a Beatles scholar by any means, but I imagine the bulk of their music starting with Sgt Pepper's was never played 'all at once'. What we hear on our vinyl and iTunes is the output of hours of recording and studio mixing - these songs weren't performed 'together'... For this group to stand on stage and play the songs live - and to have them be better than 98% spot on with the recordings - it's amazing. I don't know what else I can add - I've watched several of their 'full album' performances and am blown away. If in some remote chance the musicians were to see this note, I'd just like to say 'Thank You' for sharing your magic.
I thoroughly endorse your comments, Joe. There's an excellent doco on The Analogues and their research when cobbling together the Sgt Pepper performance. Talk about dedication to detail! ( czcams.com/video/B5aD87iJikg/video.html )
I can guarantee you 50 years from now , they’re not going to be playing Beyoncé, J lo, Justin Bieber, et al. The Beatles are timeless. What a performance!

The attention to detail is just mesmerizing, unique. After years of looking for a good tribute band, I ran into you guys and I cannot stop listening to your versions, John, Paul, George and Ringo would be proud and amazed. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽.
Absolutely fantastic. It's not just a note for note performance the emotion of the original comes through too. I was aged 11 when this song was released, 50 years later it's still as as powerful. I hope these guys tour again when its safe.
No one comes close to these guys in terms of playing Beatles music. They have taken 'studio recordings' onto live performances. Many songs never played and sung live. Outstanding.
There were different versions of Let It Be released by The Beatles. The 'single' version, produced by George Martin and the 'album' version, produced by Phil Spector. The most notable difference is the guitar solo. This performance, covered by The Analogues, is of the album version.
@@ninjutsu4660 I have seen some of their videos, they're good but I still prefer The Analogues, these guys are the only Beatles cover band who have covered some of the more obscure Beatles songs like Within You Without You and Tomorrow Never Knows and they have done a pretty good job at it. They have even covered entire Beatles albums at once which is very commendable so I respect them a lot for this.
Sounds great but if you also want de voices to be like John Paul George and Ringo you HAVE to look up The Fab Four... they do the same but inclusive looks and performance :)
@@ninjutsu4660Just watched them, out of curiosity. They sound nice and I truly enjoy such young kids enjoy the Beatles enough to try and play their music with skill, respect and good taste, but... The Analogues are in an entirely different league.
George didn't have the Rosewood Telecaster by the time he re-recorded his solo (4 January 1970) on what would be the version used on the album. He'd already given it to Delaney Bramlett. So, the solo might have been played on a Les Paul.
I'd still rather hear Paul sing it. Even though this is done to perfection, the man who wrote the song and sang the original is still the one to see. The Analogues are the next best thing though.
How interesting. I note a Les Paul Standard is being used. George Harrison recorded two lead breaks for this song - separated by 15 months. The first on his rosewood Telecaster was very mellow without much distortion. The latter on his cherry red 57 Les Paul was more aggressive. The lead break played in this performance is the 2nd lead break - and just as you'd expect, it features the correct guitar. Superb performance dear Analogues!
... and it's not only that 6 string bass. All of their equipment (instruments, amplifiers, microphones, etc) is equal or at least very close to what the original act had used in the 60th. Bart van Poppel travels the world to find (and buy) all this ...
Today is the one month anniversary of losing my beautiful kind selfless mother. We played this song at her funeral. She loved the Beatles. I will miss and love her everyday as long as I live.

We can never ever have the Beatles come back, so thank the Gods we have the Analogues~~~
i can’t stress enough how amazingly close the piano tone/performance is to the original track
I've seen them live in 5 different performances now, It is a big party every time.
Indeed. I was curious if they would intentionally recreate the clam Paul made in the final verse but it sounds like they chose not to :)
I like the arrangement better than the orginal. The brass
All of the instruments are identical, and original from the years they were used by the Beatles. Mics, amps, everything.
