The Espeon and Umbreon were late-evolved from an Eevee, as Eevee can learn all four of those moves and likely were hatched with them. And he probably doesn't have any good TMs to teach. Also, generation 3 notoriously had the hardest National Dex to complete, as you needed Ruby & Sapphire (Hoenn Pokemon), Fire Red & Leaf Green (Kanto Pokemon), and Colosseum & Gale of Darkness (Johto Pokemon + Legendaries) to complete the gen 3 National Dex; more games than any other generation in Pokemon history. Not to mention, none of them give you the Mythicals of Mew, Celebi, or Jirachi (Jirachi only being a pre-order exclusive for Colosseum.) I never even bothered to try to complete the National Dex back in 2005.
You don't need the GC titles. Ho-oh/Lugia are not required and FR/LG and Emerald have all the Johto mons. HGSS are the first games since Crystal that require Ho-Oh/Lugia for a full dex. Also if you have both GC games than you can leave certain GBA titles out. Depends on the combination.
4:48 "Why don't people migrate their pokemon to newer games?" There are 2 possibilities. 1. They did. What you're seeing are the pokemon that were left behind because the person didn't think they were important enough or good enough to migrate. 2. That was the last pokemon game they played. The newer games didn't appeal to them so they decided to end their journey with the last game they bought. It's very possible that's why they even completed the dex, they wanted to fulfill the one challenge every kid wanted to complete before they quit.
4:40 - He might have done what I do. I start my game, collect my starter, trade over the starter to a different game and repeat that until I have all three starters and then I start my game.
1:00:10 - I named my Totodile on Crystal Todd! My Cyndaquil ended up being female and I named her Cindy! Named my Chikorita Groot. However, the OT was not me because I did that trading, restarting the game and taking it back thing. So, had a harder time with the first couple gyms because they levelled up too quickly!

1:22:04 ok this is a funny thing though but I'll tell you the list: 1. Mega Anchor is Archie's Mega Keystone Holder 2. Mega Charm is May's Mega Keystone Holder (Only Meant for Pokemon Contest Spectaculars) (Same with the Mega Cuff but the Mega Cuff is used by Brendan) 3. Mega Bracelet is used by the main player character 4. Mega Glasses is used by Maxie of Team Magma 5. Mega Glove is used by Korrina 6. Mega Pendant is used by Wally 7. Mega Stickpin is used by Steven Stone 8. Mega Tiara is used by Lisia through Pokemon Contest Spectaculars 9. Mega Anklet is used by Zinnia 10. Keystone is used by the Hoenn Elite Four so they could Mega Evolve their pokemon Funny thing is that most of these are obtained by cheating and hacking
'everything is shiny for some reason' Me thinks the Leaf Green game was hacked. All level 100 shinies with Pokerus (that's what the dot next to the pokeball means), and an Eon ticket which cannot be obtained in FR/LG. Also, yes the bonus disk Jirachi CAN be shiny BUT you can only do it once per save file which means, if they didn't hack (which they almost certainly did) they either got super lucky or restarted their R/S/E game a lot. So tl;dr, that game is hella hacked/game sharked/whatever. The Ruby version, it looks like they were trying to make a living dex, just looking at their boxes and how everything was laid out. I bet Mavis the Zubat is a Hotel Transylvania ref, cause Mavis was the name of the vampire girl. Who could turn into a bat. The TRU Arceus in the Platinum game would have come from a Toy's R Us distribution, it was to commemorate the release of the Arceus movie. I suspect *some* cheating was done in the Brian game, b/c I spotted a Cherish Ball in their bag while they were scrolling though. Which is literally unobtainable.
You can get more than 1 wishmaker jiratchi if you corrupt the save properly Though It's also more common than normal shinies, you could instantly confirm it was hacked if the IVs of the shiny didn't match the 9 possible shinies, and the eon ticket confirms they did
Those Level 40 Legendary Beasts in Platinum are from Pokemon Colosseum because I'm pretty sure all of them are level 40 when you catch them Although it's weird that he did not use them because they're really useful in beating the game Also I don't remember if you said it but the LeafGreen is 100% hacked It's impossible to get a Shiny Mew in an English copy of a Gen 3 game, it's only possible in Japanese
The Shiny Wishmaker Jiratchi @ 11:38 has correct IVs to be shiny for its' nature via bonus disk (Serious Nature: 29hp, 10atk, 31def, 25SpA, 23SpD, 21Spe | EVs 252atk 252def | Total: 339hp 278atk 299def, 230SpA, 228SpD, 226Spe), though its almost definitely hacked with the rest of them

finding a gen 3 games with events in it is more rare or just as rare as finding the winning lottery, the only way to get them is either with the real ereader cards and lost distributions carts, or ACE
CAN CONFIRM since the eon ticket was released as an e-reader card in ONE SPECIFIC ISSUE of the then wildly popular Nintendo Power magazine (volume 181, double check that bit) and I HAD IT. If the load file doesn’t have the mystery gift option, either they didn’t know how to unlock it or never went to any event.
The sus thing about the EV trainer guy in the middle is that the Legendary Beasts Trio from “a far away place” have the exact same trainer ID and Name “Connor” as the rest of his Pokémon. Not to say that the trainer ID can’t be the same between games but it definitely seems very suspicious of cheating.
Yeah, somehow thought every person that use same name is suspicious😂 as long TID is not matching is good to go since the chance TID matching between Gens and games are very low not to mention SID if they exist in this gen
I only plan on moving a few Pokémon up, but I don’t ever plan on selling my games, at the end of each game, you can tell a story, each one unique from the last. Treasures I’ll keep forever
Leaning towards hacked, but they were at least an educated hacker. The Jirachi and Mew look like they *could* be legit on surface level inspection, which is more than most hackers care to do.
obviously its hacked but i think some of them might be legit because even with those game hours its not possible to get that many shinies at least 20 shinies maximum if he is super lucky
I wish I could transfer pokemon over from my old consoles, but there's no way for me to get those pokemon storage apps now due to the Eshops and stuff no longer being supported on things like the DS or 3DS. I have a ton I'd love to keep with me.
Commenting this as you're going into Gen 7 and I just want to say, what you're doing in this video, opening up old save files from previous owners, is something I get great joy out of whenever I buy used games/ memory cards xD

It surprises me at how many of these saves have stuff hacked in with the Action Replay lol Alsyo I think the person who played SoulSilver might have used a cheat to change their trainer's name/gender too??? (Considering all the mons with Daniel as the OT/the max cash)
Pineapples. Honey Poney Plains. Or something. I did bought a bunch of pokemon games once when people started offloading their 3DS stuff in Brazil a couple of years ago. It was a lot of fun to look for what people had in their saves. However, almost all of 'em were either Empty or had like, an hour, two at most into the game, with one exception of a guy that had played Pokemon Y back to back. I still have his starter on my Home storage.
Yea sometimes it’s the luck of the draw but I find local game stores tend to have better things on them most likely because parents are selling their kids games instead of going to gamestop.
Nice video man. Incredibile how many shiny mons people had comparing to myself, who only found a shiny golbat once and killed it almost without realizing it was green. Oh, and I have way more than 1k hours on vanilla pokmemon games up to gen 5
Ooh nice I only have a handful of shiny Pokémon but nothing even close to what these save files have. Honestly my max play time for any pokemon game is 470 hours😅. So I have a long way to go for my shiny hunts.
Bro lol Iam 99.9% sure ....You got those save files from the Pokemon Project website. I know cause the save files Kevin and Mary are MY save files 100% percent lol. I uploaded those files to the site early this year to share with people. I played them as a kid. Be honest were you get you content from man...as someone who did CZcams for 10 years...I know how the CZcams game works and how it goes. Besides that love the commentary on those save files lol
Well no I didn’t even know you could get save files from others 😅. When I went to the store and bought them the owner just told me they were legit cartridges. So I wouldn’t have a clue but if they are your saves why do are the boxes named after the anime characters?
@@KingZoroark Its alllll good. I was woundering if that could have happenend. The cartridges maybe 100% legit...but you can change out save files on legit cartridges very easily. For the Ruby save file that was my main game. I named her Mary after my grandmother who got me the game. The names for the boxes lol if you look most are named after women...I was young andddd thought they were...hot lol. The other names though were because of characters I liked in the anime. Paige though was a girl that I played pokemon with who I had a crush on in 5th grade lol. Jacki was another freind, Brian was my brothers (Ruby or Fire Red), my name is Kevin ( so its eather Sappire or leaf Green), Lance is my emeriald file, Jessi is my FIre Red file. All others are trades. There are alotttttt of sercet bases in those save files by the way. Like...20 plus allll over the place lol . Your secert base is in Rusturf Tunnel. On the Verdanturf side. My brothers is in the same place. This game I played off and on for 20 years. So lots of those trades were from conventions and events I have gone to. Plus I have used it as a hub to send pokemon to gen 4 games then up to gene 9. The Sapphire game was mostly used early on as place to store pokemon from save runs we did on other games or pokemon people trade us( do to space and not having pokemon box). Later on though it became a hub to move pokemon from pokemon XD Gale of Darkness and Colosseum. Which is were most are from. One of the Lugia is named XD001 lol and why they have OT of Wes and Michael. The other OT names are becasue my brother, me, or a freind did play runs on other files using Wally's team, Steven's teams etc. then trade those pokemon over. Hope that explains it all. Let me know if you like to know anything else about the save files and enjoy them man :). Trade them up to gen 9 if you like.

Sapphire was the game I played the most of since my grandfather bought it for me when I was younger. I’m still a bit bummed that I lost it so many years ago. I’m now curious to the back story of how you save file ended up on cartridge all the way in some small game store in New Jersey of all places. And this also has me wondering the story behind all the save files on these cartridges. Thanks for letting me know about your save file and I appreciate you watching and enjoying the video.
I want to have this playing in the bg while I work, but the volume of the voice recording is too quiet for me. Even turning up the volume on my laptop itself doesn't help the issue of the sound mixing. I'm sure a lot of work went into this, but it's something I just wanted to bring up for future reference.
You can also get a Jirachi from the European version of Pokémon channel. With a modded systems I think you could shiny hunt it. But that'd be like 1 encounter per day since you have to 100% the game each time.
You can also save corrupt in Ruby or Sapphire to get an infinite number of encounters, but this wasn't known (and still isn't widely known) many years ago
@mrbubbles6468 but Jirachi is only in the Pal Version (Europe & Australia). Since GameCubes are Region Locked, you'd either need a PAL GameCube, or a modded one.
@@aidinexmachina4232 I imagine their point was you do not need a modded console if you have the appropriate hardware - like I, for example, don't need a modded Gamecube to shiny hunt Channel Jirachi
Migrating Pokemon needed two systems back then for some games, and if you were (like me) a kid with no pokemon playing friends and a single DS Lite there was nothing you could do. My original copy of Diamond has since stopped working (contacts rubbed off) but I definitely have a couple of Pokemon I managed to drag off of there still floating around in my modern games/home, but I am sad that the hours I had and the Pokemon that were on there are gone.
I never forget when I played PVP matches on Axon why I ran into so many people doing double and triple mag evolutions even having a whole team of mega evolutions, a mega evolve on top of a mega ball, and I definitely believe their stats to carry over because they were heating and tanking like a fucking tankshit was insane but it felt so good beating them fuck
Your voice reminds me of Jason Barr's Tiger's Eye Cloverway voice. At the time Jason Barr was 13, he had a voice just like what you had at the time of the time of this video.
Got a white 2 with a legit event genesect, used pkhex to put the wonder card on my black cart and traded it over before erasing the previous owner’s save
If you take video requests, can you do an impression of Jason Barr's Tiger's Eye voice? If so, you'll do a great job. Don't worry if it isn't 100%, you'll do a high or very high grade, nonetheless.
I wanna know if Connor on the pokemon platinum save was hacked or not, the rest looked legit but the team was sus. I know it was possible to rng manip but did this guy do it? I must know 😂

Ooh nice I only have a handful of shiny Pokémon but nothing even close to what these save files have. Honestly my max play time for any pokemon game is 470 hours😅. So I have a long way to go for my shiny hunts.
Why did the 3rd guy hack so many powerful Pokémon when he didn’t even beat the elite four? 😅
Let me know if you like to know anything else about the save files and
enjoy them man :). Trade them up to gen 9 if you like.
@@SetoKaibaYu-Gi-OhChannel Dang that’s incredible I love the history behind everything. I will definitely be sure to trade up the Pokémon to Pokémon home as a way to preserve the history behind everything.it really takes me back to when I was younger and played Pokémon with friends and brother while I was in elementary school lol. Thanks for letting me know about your save file and I appreciate you watching and enjoying the video.
it is possible that they probably somehow dumped the save onto the physical copy and then sold it
You nailed the commentary! Very enjoyable video, keep them up!
Thanks, will do!
I loved the video, I hope u get more subs soon.
I want to have this playing in the bg while I work, but the volume of the voice recording is too quiet for me. Even turning up the volume on my laptop itself doesn't help the issue of the sound mixing. I'm sure a lot of work went into this, but it's something I just wanted to bring up for future reference.
Thanks for the feedback I will be sure to fix this issue going forward ☺️
You're welcome~
Cool video, hope they bring them megas back😂
I agree megas were awesome.
The Arceus on Platinum was the Toy’s R Us event.
You can also get a Jirachi from the European version of Pokémon channel. With a modded systems I think you could shiny hunt it. But that'd be like 1 encounter per day since you have to 100% the game each time.
I did hear about that but I wonder if you can get a mew from the us version of Pokémon channel.
You can also save corrupt in Ruby or Sapphire to get an infinite number of encounters, but this wasn't known (and still isn't widely known) many years ago
You don’t need to mod the system to get Channel Jirachi Shiny
@mrbubbles6468 but Jirachi is only in the Pal Version (Europe & Australia). Since GameCubes are Region Locked, you'd either need a PAL GameCube, or a modded one.
@@aidinexmachina4232 I imagine their point was you do not need a modded console if you have the appropriate hardware - like I, for example, don't need a modded Gamecube to shiny hunt Channel Jirachi
Happy birthday dude!
TRU is Toys R Us! I remember that event well!
Now you can transfer those super rare pokemon to your pokemon home.
That Incineroar set was definitely a singles set lol doubles set would 100% be running intimidate that's the main reason it's so popular in doubles
Migrating Pokemon needed two systems back then for some games, and if you were (like me) a kid with no pokemon playing friends and a single DS Lite there was nothing you could do. My original copy of Diamond has since stopped working (contacts rubbed off) but I definitely have a couple of Pokemon I managed to drag off of there still floating around in my modern games/home, but I am sad that the hours I had and the Pokemon that were on there are gone.
the shiny battle bond greninja is crazy, especially since it was shiny locked
Keep doing these types of video
I never forget when I played PVP matches on Axon why I ran into so many people doing double and triple mag evolutions even having a whole team of mega evolutions, a mega evolve on top of a mega ball, and I definitely believe their stats to carry over because they were heating and tanking like a fucking tankshit was insane but it felt so good beating them fuck
Fr!!! Pineapples are Pony Pony Planes
Gooch looks like he was working on a nuzlocke
Ooh that makes sense
Thumbnail made me think you found a Mega Charizard in Soul Silver
I got my Platinum brand new when it came out. I didn’t know it was rare
Oh yea if you have the game case and manual it’s worth around 130 at the bare minimum and can definitely go up in price.
Your voice reminds me of Jason Barr's Tiger's Eye Cloverway voice. At the time Jason Barr was 13, he had a voice just like what you had at the time of the time of this video.
woah holy shit, i found you again! been a long, long time since i've seen you!
Oh yea hi 👋
Got a white 2 with a legit event genesect, used pkhex to put the wonder card on my black cart and traded it over before erasing the previous owner’s save
It's kinda sad this no longer exist with the switch.
Wish you can see the year the game was saved on the gen 3 games
If you take video requests, can you do an impression of Jason Barr's Tiger's Eye voice? If so, you'll do a great job. Don't worry if it isn't 100%, you'll do a high or very high grade, nonetheless.
I don’t do requests 😅
pineapples poni poni plains!! this video was amazing
i wish i still had my pokemon white 2 cartrage that was lost a long time ago... i miss it =l
someone def regretting selling that leaf green
29:26 probably hotel Transylvania.
1:14:56 did anyone notice the heracross being in a Masterball?
Dude super fun video!
Thanks for watching ☺️
i always traded my important mon over before selling my game cards
I wanna know if Connor on the pokemon platinum save was hacked or not, the rest looked legit but the team was sus. I know it was possible to rng manip but did this guy do it? I must know 😂
Bro dropped at least 1k $$ into that
So underrated omg.
that's awesome! ^-^
40:13 TRU= Toys T Us. It was given away as an event Mon. I probably have one floating around somewhere.
Can you make a short on Connor’s underground base? This was so sick to see
Sure I’ll try but I have to find it first 😅
@@KingZoroarkHaha sweeeeet! Pineapples, btw 1:28:42 :D
10:10 hacked. The word you're looking for is that they hacked. Why are you trying all you can to not to see that they hacked?
12:39 a living shiny dex
And OTs are all different for legendaries?
I would send all of those to Pearl. That’s what I did when I bought a Copy of Emerald.
cant the tickets be traded with a pokemon ?
I got a Pokemon white copy currently
if i ever get rid of my pokemon games im deleting everything, im that petty lmao
Good Video keep going
transfer those shinies! ⭐
Maybe I'm wrong, but wasn't Sun WoKong the name of the actual Ape King?
Great video!
Thank you for watching
Fascinating.
shiny gardevoir named rule 34.
great video thank you
How do people give the mega anklet and items that dont exist and also do the mega evolution as the sprite without mega evolution
I have no idea how it was even possible. The things people do are really strange
Man shit like this is why I'm glad I just emulate the pokemon games now, dude probably 300+ alone on Gba and ds games while the 3ds games are dirt cheap lmfao
Goes to Gamestop / walks in / Can i get Pokemon black 2 / Employee: sorry but we are out of stock
Tbh I wouldn’t even trust gamestop for used games since they don’t know how to tell if it’s a fake copy or not. I would say try to buy from a local game store or even a trusted eBay seller.
Thanks for calling me funny man. I appreciate it. Us Todd's stick together
The arceus lvl100 was an eventmon
I love pokemon games
Ayyyy trainer tips song
