Where did cars disappear in Barcelona Superilla neighborhood blocks?

  • Can you imagine part of the neighborhood without a cars? Barcelona is very close to reaching that by implementing pilot-projects called super-blocks (spanish Superilla) in its neighborhoods. I have visited one of this super-blocks and I share my opinion about it in the video.

    How is the traffic, noise quality and pedestrian mobility in the blocks outside of the superilla? Would the cars and traffic just move to other parts of the city?

      Hi Marbus! There are actually some parts where car can enter, but immediately needs to get out. For example, in a way it needs to make a U-turn and cannot just cross straight.
