I have a problem with mice around my place so I always carry a S&W .500 magnum wherever I go - it works pretty good. My daughter (18 months old) generally carries a .40 caliber to protect her dolls [hey, you never know]. Last week I was hunting for worms (using fish as bait) because the yawning sound they make at night was keeping me awake. Incidentally, I was wondering - are albino polar bears black?

I built a shaving horse about 40 years ago. It was for my father. He's let it run off somewhere. I got a new (old) mint condition drawknife yesterday. I think I'll build myself a new shaving horse .

Suggestion, Screw the drill guide to a piece of plywood larger that the base of the drill guide. cut out a hole the diameter matching the inside of the drill guide. Then it can easily be placed over the work piece and clamped into place. Saves time and You won't have to run screws into the work piece if you are working on a lest rustic item. Keep up the good work.
