From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action adventure “Black Adam.” The first-ever feature film to explore the story of the DC Super Hero comes to the big screen under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”).
Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods-and imprisoned just as quickly-Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

One of adams best storyline in the comics is the one where he is completely battering Shazam and superman join in and both Shazam and superman take on black Adam at once. If they do that story arc in the dceu it's gonna be hype asf.

In the comics both Shazam and superman had to tag team against black Adam because they were getting battered when they tried to fight him individually. The guy is no joke.
That girl at the end is Adams wife in the comics. She gets the powers of the goddess ISIS and she rules the nation of kahndaq alongside Adam in the comics. Adam is more of an anti hero since he only kills bad people or people who threaten his nation. His wife has super strength, speed and flight although they aren't on the level of Adam. She also has the ability to manipulate all four of the elements. She basically the avatar but with super speed and strength. I'm not sure if she is gonna get her powers in this movie or if they're gonna change her story.
Love The Different language hiccup whether planned or not by Sam. Hilarious. He had one job.

Adam has the same powers as Shazam but his powers comes from Egyptian gods whereas Shazam gets his from Greek gods but unlike Shazam, Adam has full control and mastery over his abilities.

As a huge fan of Shazam and Black Adam, I noticed he stated his son sacrificed himself to save Black Adam. But within the comics, his nephew was ORIGINALLY going to obtain the powers of earths champion. However, Black Adam murders his nephews in order steal the powers for himself. I hope we get that in the film.
The only power that needs to change is that damn Hierarchy in the WB studios to fix this damn Universe. That power definitely needs changing.

you guys are the first reactors I look for when these trailers drop. Amazing reaction as always. While im excited for the movie, i just hope its not a villan turned hero scenario. Also while we do not know exactly which universe this is supposed to be, I cant help but think the movie would benefit more if it was set in the snyderverse cause it would go with the tone that black adam usually has. But as always we will just have to wait and see. I have my reservation but i hope it delivers.
