Well done video great chanel very helpful.
You have the cleanest mercruiser 3.0 I ever seen
We are very honored to read this, thank you. We do our best to keep it clean.
😁👍🧰
I love your channel. It's very informative and very precise in details. And I can't thank u enough for doing so. I'm currently working on my 1978 wellcraft and it has a Aplha one gen 1 with a 470 mercruiser
We very much appreciate that, thank you. That’s awesome you’re working on your 78. The alpha one gen 1 is a friendly outdrive to work on…unless corroded by salt water. 😁👍🧰
Thanks, I love point gaps!
😊👍☕️
What causes the coil to overheat mine is overheating and burning up two of em so far
Thanks for watching, great question. It can be as simple as old worn out plugs and wires. In addition, the below items can cause coil to overheat.
1. Distributor point not properly set
2. An electrical short or loose connection on coil
3. Engine timing off
🧰
Would it not be easier to leave the gap guage in there then tighten up the screw against it and then slide out the gap guage?
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Great point and that will be personal preference. 👍
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
