  • Day 1:
We arrived in Taipei before lunch. Our first activity for the day is in the airport itself, where we tried our luck in the Taiwan the Lucky Land lottery.
We chose to stay in a hotel near the Taipei Main Station.
After checking-in in our hotel and a quick lunch, we went to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Liberty Square. Aside from visiting the hall and the square, we also witnessed the Changing of the Honor Guards, which happens every 1 hour.
We went to Ximen in the evening to try various street food and do some shopping.
    Day 2:
We rode the bus going to Beitou, a district famous for hotsprings. Aside from enjoying a hot bath, we also visited various famous sites such as Beitou Heritage Station, Hot Spring Museum, and the Thermal Valley.
Going back to the city center, we visited Lungshan Temple, where many locals and tourists visit to offer their prayers.
For dinner, we went to Shilin Night Market to again try various Taiwanese street food.
    Day 3:
We started the day early to hike in Elephant Mountain, where we were rewarded with a breathtaking view of the city.
We went to Chia Te bakery afterwards to buy various pastries, including their famous pineapple cake.
After a quick refresh in the hotel, we went to the National Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and from there, walked to Taipei 101 where we did some shopping and had our dinner.
    Day 4:
We took the train to Tamsui and rode a bus to reach Wuji Tianyuan temple, where we were greeted by its grand pagoda.
We went back to Tamsui and strolled along the Golden Riverside Park, and then in Tamsui Old Street where we again tried various street food for snacks and dinner.
    Day 5:
For our last day, we rode the train to Shifen to experience releasing our own lantern with our wishes. Afterwards, we walked and hiked to visit Shifen Waterfall.
Going back to the city center, we went to see the Presidential Office Building before walking to Ximen for dinner.
Taipei is beautiful city to visit, food and shopping is cheap, and transportation is very efficient. We hope our video helps you in planning your trip to this great city. :)

We went there in April and di na namin naabutan ang cold weather. Just prep for a hotter weather this June. The transpo is excellent and if you're just taking a trip in the areas of Taipei, there are lots of air conditiined establishments. Enjoy your trip!😊
