- Taipei has jumped to the top of our list for best city experiences in Asia. In this travel vlog, we share our full itinerary of what we got up to - Shilin and Raohe Food Night Market, discovering the Taipei Grand Trial, Beitou hot spring town, visiting the old Taipei around Dadaocheng and Dihua Street, Ximending and Zhongshan for shopping and nightlife, the Chih Nan Temple and of course, the iconic Taipei 101 building as we visit the 89th floor observation deck. We were invited by the Taipei Tourism Board and shown around all these areas by locals and tour guides. We finish with some travel guide tips for using public transport, the hotels we stayed at along with safety.

Taiwan is a mountainous island with an area of 36,000 square kilometers, with 268 peaks above 3,000 meters (9,800 feet) above sea level. It is one of the most dense islands in the world. Friends who like mountain climbing can find professional guides to lead, because there are many mountainous areas that need to apply for a mountain entry certificate to enter. Because of the relationship between mountain house accommodation and the control of the number of people, it is necessary to make an appointment 2-3 month before the trip.

This was the best video ever. No monologue for 5 min with lame joke while looking directly at the camera helps a lot. On top of that I guess you just have a good taste (not having 10 min of video wasted on arcade shooting basketball) and enough shots of food without overdoing it. In general you guys did a great job. Thank you a lot. If you come over to Calgary I will be happy to take you to dinner.

I had a great 10 days with the help of your very informative video.
Got to the hot springs which were very interesting, went to see the guards do their on the hour display (that was busy,
Climbed elephant, keelung & tea pot mountain (phew) and spent 2 nights at the geopark (which I always enjoy).
If you get there next time book in at the (inhouse hotel and get a window room).
So a good time was had.

Wow! It's the kind of place where you can eat your weight in dumplings, practice your martial arts moves with chopsticks, and still have room for bubble tea dessert. I almost visited this interesting country but hopefully, soon enough, my travel dart would land perfectly in this country!
