I have been married for 23 years and every 5 years we do a mini anniversary and always wear our original wedding outfits at some point and take photos of course. 💐💐💝
We have been married for 48 years and had the most beautiful and memorable wedding day. 12 people in our wedding party and a guest list of 500. We had a live band at the reception and had the time of our lives. The best advice I can give you is to remember,
God is in the details and we have always tried to stay true to that promise. May God bless you and your marriage all the days of your life!

I had a silver sixpence in my shoe, 35 years ago. I had my grandmothers wedding ring on for something old and borrowed, my dress for something new, I wore a blue garter and of course the sixpence. You are going to be a stunning bride! 🥰
My grandmother helped me plan our wedding...she gave me an 1899 penny as I live in Canada...the year her sister was born...the glass cameo broche was a afterthought...the gift my grandparents gave my great grandmother for hosting a wedding weekend in 1929...she also loaned me her wedding earrings and my wedding gown was blue as was her dress...she came to every fitting and buying spree...the only problem was that the hotel said that they had to decorate...they left the room bare...so have someone in charge of over seeing...you do not want to cry 💙

I had a massive rain storm the night before my wedding day and yet there was nothing but sunshine and blue skies the day of. So I know your wedding day will turn out perfect for you!

Really enjoy your channel and content. Along the lines of advice I remarried going on 3 years ago to the absolute love of my life. My first wedding was large my second wedding was small and simple. It turned out perfect. So my advice is bigger is not always better and keep it simple and don’t expect perfect just go with the flow and don’t stress. I found my smaller wedding to be more relaxed and enjoyable and I remember it all including the interaction with the guests. Where as my first wedding I remember only bits of as it was large and stressful. You are absolutely beautiful and I wish you the best for your big day and can’t wait to see it all come together!

The day before my daughters wedding,her dress was hanging in the spare room.Our 2 cats decided to run up it! There were a few threads caught,so be careful with cats around!!

When I got married nearly fifteen years ago I bought two pairs of shoes one pair that was very pretty with a little kitten heel and the other pair where like ballerina shoes in a gorgeous silver colour. Just incase my feet started to ache during the day. I never did get to wear the more comfortable ones.

We've been saving for a year, married Nov 2022. Going dress shopping in Jan, still need to find the bridesmaid and suits but booked the cake, band, photographer, registrar, venue 😊

This is all so helpful, I get married in 540 days and need all the help I can get 😂 the shoes are wonderful and I agree you need to feel comfortable. I am definitely not as far with planning as you but we've got our first Wedding meeting on the 15th January at our venue so hopefully that will give me some inspiration. Hi Kay, that was a truly lovely video you’ve very thoughtfully shared. Your Wedding Day is very special to you and your Groom. I bet your bridal dress is just magical and stunning and has a bit of sparkle. From my Wedding Day my advice from me to you is : take a step back at some point on your Wedding Day with your Groom and just take 5 mins to take everything in that’s going on around you. Also, the day is ALL ABOUT YOU, the Bride. I spontaneously said a speech but only a 3 minute speech - only my Dad knew about this - and apparently I was very good. I am not a public speaker one bit at all but, it was my one only opportunity to say my own thankyou to everyone for being there on our wedding day and just to share my heartfelt emotions of our special day. Enjoy your day, have fun and dance the night away and just enjoy every moment feeling like a true princess! 👰🏼♀️🤵🏼♂️💍 xx
Your wedding shoes are truly beautiful! Perfect! In Greece, before the wedding, while the bride is getting ready, all the single ladies in her bridal party write their names under her shoes, on the sole. Tradition says that the names that are worn off by the end of the reception will soon get married :) My daughter did that at her wedding (she's French and Greek) with her cousins and closest girl friends, it was such fun and so moving at the same time, a very special moment that we all loved, and now a wonderful memory!
