In my opinion, those boards are OK in powder, but really difficult to ride on hard-packed groomed trails and ice like you find on most lift service areas.
Great video! I am especially interested in the Meidjo bindings! Seems like a great system for BC.
True. Great binding for BC. S far, it's the best I've seen for efficient touring. And the skiing is awesome.
Crispi boots look awesome but where can you find them in BC? Hoping to see the same innovation we see in AT boots come to tele...

Reference: Balck Diamond Helio 95 / 22 Designs Outlaw.
There are four lines (BC, +1, +2, and +3) on these skis for reference to mount bindings - ski boot center. Where have you positioned your ski boot center for telemark using Outlaw binding?

absolutetelemark hey, I've got a pair of Fischer SBound 98s with 7tm bindings and Garmont Excursions boots. The binding feels heavier than the ski! But the tour mode is pretty good. I've also recently purchased a pair of Dynastar Cham 97 skis with dynafit Radical ST 2 bindings and dynafit boots for steeper skiing in New Zealand. Really interesting to see you can get Tele/At combo! I'll definitely consider that for my next pair. Agree with you about the ski brakes for sure.

Have you tried the Helio 105? Thinking of moving to that from BD Carbon Aspects (95)
Peter Greis yes I have. It’s a great ski. A very good quiver. I highly recommend it. BUT: remember BD does not recommend mounting telemark binding on the Helio series

No I don't. It's a great option thought.
Je viens d'acheter les mêmes bottes que toi, et je remarque dans les instructions qu'on dit qu'il ne faut pas les exposer à des températures plus basses que -20 C ! Ça m'arrive pas souvent de skier quand il fait aussi froid, mais ça arrive... Est-ce que tu as skié à des températures aussi basses avec ces bottes ?
Oui, Je n'ai eu aucun problème. C'est similaire aux autres bottes que j'ai eu dans le passé. Par contre, plusieurs amis les trouvent plus froide. Mais honnêtement, pas moi.

R Belan 22 design ne me commandite pas. Je suis commandité par Black Diamond en tant que pro. Je dois quand même payer une partie du prix.
