This is partially because of Anne's hot headed nature but honestly, mostly because she was afraid of Mary- and of Catherine. But Anne tried multiple times to have a better relationship with Mary. On February or Marh of 1534 while visiting Elizabeth she offered to reconcile with Mary if the girl would accept her as queen. Mary basically told her no and called Anne "the king's mistress". Another time Anne asked that she obey her father and she "would find Anne a second mother, and be asked for minimal courtesies only" which Mary once again refused.

We can see that very clearly in the way he treated his daughter, even after Anne's execution.
