    Jack, I have been watching your MB&Y videos for years. I even made a comment about your black eye a few years ago. Your videos are the BEST in the business. Your comprehensive explanations of boats are 2nd to none. Your experience and hard work have hopefully paid off. Bravo! You are a true boat professional!

      Untwist your knickers, John Smith. They're both good, but both under time pressure. I like Nick too, but MB&Y pointed out the aft controls (at 2:37) and showed the interior of the tender garage which I personally like to see.

      @JohnSmith-zo6ir Před 4 lety +2

      For the same money the Fairline GTO 63 is way ahead. Princess has pretty much copied the Fairline GTO 63, made it into a 55, compromised the third cabin and does not have pod drives and virtual anchoring, which is very attractive to new boaters and ownner skippers who don't want a crew.
      Pod drives make berthing and maneuvering so much easier.
      Princess is no longer a leader. Fairline has taken that mantra.

It is interesting how Azimut was using Cherry wood in 1986 and then in 92/93 everyone started following. It is interesting how Azimut started using Wenge in 2003 and and in 2007 everyone started following. It is interesting how Azimut started using Oak in 2007 and everyone in 2011 started following. May be if there was no Azimut boats would still be in dark mahogany wood? I love the double dinette as I think first shown in the Princess V57 at around 2011. I think that boat does not gets praised enough may be because it was launched in difficult economic times.

      Premier productions Liverpool each to their own and I hope you have many happy days with your new 55 if you get it. You questioned why are they doing this? Different horses for different courses. The flybridge boats are inevitably a little top heavier and hence lose their manoeuvrability and sporty feel a little. Some people prefer not to lose those characteristics. Happy boating 👍

      In an area where there are waterways with low bridges, (some parts of America), they love these low profile boats but I think it is all personal preference. Some love a flybridge, others don't. Just catering to various markets.

      @Gerald Edwards: I see your point, it's a nice piece of kit. But practically my thoughts are if it's for the purchaser to enjoy the drive not just showing others the depths of their pocket then you can't beat the Botnia Targa 30.1. Handled easily by one and a breeze for a couple. If you see the size of vessel in the video ploughing through the Solent invariably there is a male on the wheel and the significant other is seated in the stern reading a book. You can see limited shared enjoyment and, whisper it quietly, the owner would be far better off with a more compact design that you can access with far more ease and confidence.
      But then as you might guess I don't have the £1,000,000 burning a hole in my pocket for this one...
