To be honest I was quite happy to see they made the Dinobots smarter than their G1 counterparts with the way they can hold their speech patterns properly instead of acting like cave men.
Indeed. To be honest I think I prefer this version of his personality more - where he is self aware to the fact that his intellect was hampered instead of a childish cave man like he was in G1.
Grimlock is a Leader with guts, determination and respect. Not a mindless brute, to be scolded like a dog, and treated like a pet THIS is Transformers.
This scene was just programed perfectly... from the design of Grimlock himself, the camera angles and the sounddesign and soundtrack, you felt that this was made by fans for fans. One of my gaming highlights of the last few years :3
Well, to be fair: The very first of Bay's Transformers movies wasn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't good either, but it was a perfect little blockbuster movie with really awesome action scenes, showing that a realistic movie adaptation of this (lets be real here) rather ridiculous premise is possible. The sequels though were just repeats of the first movie, not really adding anything to the continuity, which is the greatest sin a sequel can do to a franchise.

You know I should be mad that you transformed back right after going dino, but it does results is some amazing dialogue timing, like saying destroy the moment you were Attacking or "crush you" when you actually were biting him in half
This gave me damn chills, nostalgia, as someone woh grew up with the bayofrmers because of my age, I st il ltake this Girmlock anyday over the movie vers.
now i see why grimlock isnt in the show tfp because he would kick the shit of every transformer there the makers of the game gave prime and megatron 100 hp and they gave grimlock 500 hp just to say prime and megatron ant shit to grimlock
