did that once and people only followed those items EXACTLY , turned their brain off and 5c items became 100c items for no reason. Actually no chance.I ever provide anything like that again. Hi really nice build, i leveled easy with a few chaos an selffound items up to yellow maps. After switching few items i blast through maps and most endgame bosses (but that´s my fault^^) Is there a benefit if i use two curse on hit rings? i test it but feels not good dont know why.
Bro@@Bauermayers -- unless there's been some changes since I played it in Sanctum, this was maybe the best build I've ever played. I made it to 100 on accident doing CaptainLance Trickster version. Don't worry about the 'mine gameplay' because you don't even need to be close to the enemies. Hex blast basically screen wide targets on their own with no aiming. When i was going through sanctum i was just tossing em and they'd cast and hit stuff behind walls. It's not annoying like most mines are. Also, PLEASE PLEASE realize lol, I'm not a streamer or pro or nothing, I'm not even that good, but I have a couple vids just a few secs long. Without big investment I was able to beat uber bosses for the first time ever on this, while also being a fast mapper. Once i got a MB and some investment i was killing ubers in seconds, i have a vid showing final uber phase in like 4-5 seconds, for UBER SIRUS. But I was doing all ubers with eyes closed. I hate mine gameplay, this is the best build I've ever done.
Wanna say, Try the build and love it so much, manage to get to the EndGame Tree and Items and just blasting through everything, big thanks Mr Palsteron!
I wish I went with this for league start. I went lightning arrow league start and put 15 divines in a respec of tornado shot. Let's just say I have over 700 deaths because its so squishy. Hoping Hexblast mines is a different story
@Palsteron, this build is stupid; stupid good that is. I haven't played such a fun and insane build like this for quite a while. Has been super easy to set up, super easy for me to play, and I feel every upgrade that I get (and I'm a crap player as in I can't craft like most people and only sell a tiny amount). I only have the sandstorm, the cluster jewels, and the flame chest to go, but I really haven't needed them since I'm mid-way through yellow maps. So thanks heaps for this build, it's amazing, and please keep up your excellent work

Ive been testing this skill and even leveled with it after act 3 with just blasphemy and even then it is really really smooth. You oneshot most bosses especially after act 4-5 and once you get a curse on hit or profane proxy(or both) the skill is just way too nice. You dont have to aim cause everything gets autotargeted and everything in your screen just instantly dies. Highly recommendable it just feels really good and scales insanely
@@Sink_Bodymodification I played with hexblast+minefield+high-impact+increased crit for hexblast and then just blasphemy with either frostbite or flammability and then either grace or skitterbots. I played with skitterbots cause i found good armor for good base resistances. Other than that you can do whatever you want. Play shield charge or flame dash and maybe take a spell totem with wither and bear trap is kinda important for more damage. those are the only things you "need". A good thing would be to get curse on hit somewhere which would make it really smoothe. There should be a few curse on hit corrupt gloves a few hours into the league and they shouldnt be too expensive.

Played Kaom/Dissolution/Rathpith combo Hexblast miner in Sanctum. Insane dmg, fun to blow bosses before they even move. Was thinking about starting with it but I don't like to play same builds in short time.
I played this as a league starter for 3.21 and it blasted all content. Not the fastest build but it has high damage output and rasy to scale. Highly recommended
@@l.a.w.5738 I used Sabo ascendancy. I was able to get the lv 30 sim but it's a bit tough. I'm not really good at running sims so I don't go for that. Survivability was decent but could be better
I got a LA this league, been good but obviously not great at bossing. I have a shadow assassin cobra lash that I'm gunna respec into this for sanctum and bossing. I have about 50div saved, that should be enough to get me goin?

I'm looking at this because of spell blade support, but I'm also low-key looking at frostbolt mine. Use a beltimber blade for mapping, and use something else for bosses maybe. Then you get base physical damage, and +2 projectiles. I'll need conversion, and probably use an occultist.
Maybe go for whispers of doom (3 golden i know) on amulet, to free up 5 points, and ditch some of the tree nodes for spell suppression and get it form gear (boots, shield, gloves), this should free up another 3-5 points. Might allow for medium cluster and small cluster (enduring composure would be nice) could use clusters to beef up evasion/hp/chaos res. could also use grace mana reservation small cluster if need to replace old anoint . There's places to get more points, small hp/evasion nodes, small life node here or there. You could free up a solid 12-15 points for clusters, without giving much up.
I played this as traps in sanctum and the biggest concern now in Sanctum is that monsters that are out of 100 units of range from you are immune to damage, which I'm pretty sure most of the time I was not meeting the range condition when I played it.
I've been league-testing Occultist Hexblast-Traps and it feels amazing. 6mil dps on literal trash gear in ssf and way more tanky. i'm running defiance banner, grace, determination, skitterbots, molten shell, etc. spell suppression capped too. clear feels amazing on occultist and bossing so far feels super super clean. i've only done eater, exarch, regular sirus and regular maven, but the build slaps...and this is obviously without Sandstorm. I would encourage you to give it a shot if you have a occultist in standard that's already leveled so you can just test end game build feel. leveling was a breeze since I was just rolling with lightning trap and storm brand. looking at pob with sandstorm shows 17 mil dps, and that's not optimized, still using all my other ssf gear, and no clusters.

I just ran the Jorgen verson of this build through act10 and had basically 0 mana issues. I ran multiple curses with blasphemy and it did significant damage over just 1. The ring makes it less klunky but i kept blasphemy+frostbike also and melted everything. Ran clarity early but it was useless by act 5 so i turned it off for the 2nd aura
Loving the build... but is there any way to mute the detonate mines sound once you've swapped to hex blast and have detonate on left click? The constant ding-ding-ding is really annoying. Don't want to mute all sound effect noises though :(
Had a blast playing TR Ballistas last league thanks to your detailed guides. But sadly will be passing on Hexblast as it's not the playstyle for me. Good Luck though :D

I feel even the lower tier Sanctum uniques will be quite expensive for a while early on, since ggg has given us no way to target farm access to the content outside. Maybe bossrushing with the new Maven adding 1-3 additional map bosses keystone is a play into trying to "farm" sanctum encounters.
Is it a click heavy playstyle, trying to save hands while enjoying the game. P.S. Really liked the mention of click intensity of the build in EA Ballista guide in the overview of the build with notepad section.

You brought it right into a potential meta...thanks😡😬Profane Proxy may be a premium now...ouch! Fantastic build guide, so detailed and helpful, great job! Also for you to consider, the Detonate Mines gem at 20% quality FEELS AMAZING! As it is a white gem, and takes only 1 socket it can fit in any colored socket. 20% Detonation Speed is seriously recognizable, give it a go! You may include it in your build guide! See you on league start day! "Hope you drop more divines then I do!" (how is that for an end clip catch phrase?)
This video actually made me chabge my leaguestart away from hexblast mines lol. Now that the build has been featured by CaptainLance, Palsteron, Ziz and some smaller creators the build is gonna be way too expensive, especially considering that sandstorm visage is gonna be much more rare this time. I'm gonna stick with pyroclast mines and scale them to endgame, astral projector shouldn't get too expensive since most people will only use pyroclast for leveling.
Damn, Boneshatter Jugg or Hexblast Mines Sabo... if I didn't already enjoy Boneshatter Jugg in SSF to test it for 3.22, I would have tried that, but now I crave something different... with more boss dps =)
One Korean passing. damn our honey pot has been spotted... It's true it was Koreans secret weapon. yeah it's stupidly good at Act with low gear, Skipped all uber with high end gear. My choice was Occ. but Sabo is good too. Difference is more dmg vs survival. I think Sabo is newbie friendly.
was a good build in Sanctum for Sanctums but idk how difficult that will be now. Back in 3.20 all you cared for is damage. I played ratpilth dissolution variant, giga dmg but can take some time getting used to that 2 second regen mechanic.
Palsteron - you're the man! I always check out your builds - I think they're the best! I'm running this Hexblast Miner now in 3.22 but have a question - I've switched the curses - using elem weakness on auto curse ring and frostbite on profane proxy - tell me if i've miscalculated - auto curse rings apply lvl 1 curse, so -15 for elem weakness and -17 for frostbite. elem weakness max's out at -30% so it doesn't benefit from the +3 lvls even tho it would be lvl 23 on proxy, while frostbite does benefit and would be lvl 23 with -39 res. so, -17 frostbite plus -30 elem weakness = -47 (your current set-up) and -15 elem weakness plus - 39 frostbite = -54 (my way). maybe i've missed something, so please set me straight if i've miscalculated in some way. BIG thanks - I really appreciate your guides and all you do for us POE fanatics.
hey, thanks for the really thorough guide! I was just wondering the difference between "curse on hit" ring VS "curse on hit implicit glove". It seems like the latter is a lot cheaper than a ring atm. Then our curse progression will be something like "implicit glove curse+blasphemy" -> "curse ring+blasphemy" -> "curse ring+proxy" ?
How do you actually calculate the dps of this build? Is it setup correctly in the pob? Is the damage per mine or all of them exploding at the same time?
Trying this build for 3.23. I LOVED old arc mine so wanted to give a mine build another go. However, question: Blood Drinker doesn't work with traps/totems/mines I don't think so we won't get that 2% life on kill. Did you take that node just to get the 50 hp from life mastery?
Question about a comment you make at 9:55... With the Affliction league changes, Hexblast mine now has a 90% chance to remove a curse instead of ALWAYS removing a curse... But I don't understand the comment about "Where some mines you can't remove a curse, and so you do less damage"... But I don't understand the desire to remove curses or how that factors into dealing more damage somehow. Is there a factor somewhere that removing a curse results in increased damage that I'm missing? As for the mine throwing speed nerfs, I'm not too worried about those personally as I played it briefly in 3.22 and didn't go crazy on getting mine throwing speed and I already felt like I had plenty of speed to it. They seem like minimal impact nerfs that can be fairly easily overcome, but correct me if I'm wrong.
I think I'm gonna start into Affliction league with this as Pathfinder. You think that's a good idea? Probably switch to something more tanky for endgame though.
Pal did you do a test run with trickster? I was planning on sabo into trickster later but if you tested trickster and it was good i'd maybe just go trickster right away.
I see you have 'Is the enemy Burning?' checked in your PoB. But since Void Manipulation prevents ignite how are you applying the burning for the ascendancy crit multiplier from Explosives Expert? I've noticed the same thing mentioned in every hexblast video i've watched. It's casually mentioned which that hexblast applies the ignite and then is linked with VM. Seems to me that VM only becomes worthwhile once you can swap to the awakened for the extra hexblast level. Or am I just missing something obvious?
You're missing something obvious, no worries - VM doesn't prevent "burning"; it prevents "elemental damage" - however, an implicit line of Hexblast is "All damage can Ignite, Freeze and Shock". We're doing Chaos Damage, which then ignites as a result of that innate property.
@@elisianthus I did some tests and VM prevents ignite regardless. This is a quote from GGG a few years back but should still be correct today. "Even if you can cause the ailment from non-elemental damage, Ignite itself deals elemental damage, and that damage will thus be 0. Since zero-damage Ignites are not applied, you cannot ignite at all."

we did it. we finally broke him. he is on the right path now, soon he may play fun self cast builds on league start, maybe by 2024.

Hexblast is extremely good in Sanctum, one of the main reasons I'm going hexblast this league again.

Im actually really tempted to play this. there is nothing quite like being able to do pretty much all map mods.

Captainlance found the build very good for sanctum during the league, and I doubt the added rares will change much

Double blasphemy works well to get around the reapply blasphemy thing while levelling and early maps.

Also for you to consider, the Detonate Mines gem at 20% quality FEELS AMAZING! As it is a white gem, and takes only 1 socket it can fit in any colored socket. 20% Detonation Speed is seriously recognizable, give it a go! You may include it in your build guide! This video actually made me chabge my leaguestart away from hexblast mines lol. Now that the build has been featured by CaptainLance, Palsteron, Ziz and some smaller creators the build is gonna be way too expensive, especially considering that sandstorm visage is gonna be much more rare this time. I'm gonna stick with pyroclast mines and scale them to endgame, astral projector shouldn't get too expensive since most people will only use pyroclast for leveling.

Hello, how did you reach 5 mil dps? Im using trypanon and my cluster only have 2 30% chaos nodes. Is that the reason?
Is there a reason you don't take the Influence aura cluster? 8% reservation and bunch of aura effect for three points.
why don't you want conductivity to trigger before ele weaknes?
Damn, Boneshatter Jugg or Hexblast Mines Sabo... if I didn't already enjoy Boneshatter Jugg in SSF to test it for 3.22, I would have tried that, but now I crave something different... with more boss dps =)

One Korean passing. damn our honey pot has been spotted... It's true it was Koreans secret weapon. yeah it's stupidly good at Act with low gear, Skipped all uber with high end gear. My choice was Occ. but Sabo is good too. Difference is more dmg vs survival. I think Sabo is newbie friendly.

was a good build in Sanctum for Sanctums but idk how difficult that will be now. Back in 3.20 all you cared for is damage. I played ratpilth dissolution variant, giga dmg but can take some time getting used to that 2 second regen mechanic.
It's was good at sactum, unless the rare addition change everything it should be good. You freeze everything, they die.

Palsteron - you're the man! I always check out your builds - I think they're the best! I'm running this Hexblast Miner now in 3.22 but have a question - I've switched the curses - using elem weakness on auto curse ring and frostbite on profane proxy - tell me if i've miscalculated - auto curse rings apply lvl 1 curse, so -15 for elem weakness and -17 for frostbite. elem weakness max's out at -30% so it doesn't benefit from the +3 lvls even tho it would be lvl 23 on proxy, while frostbite does benefit and would be lvl 23 with -39 res. so, -17 frostbite plus -30 elem weakness = -47 (your current set-up) and -15 elem weakness plus - 39 frostbite = -54 (my way). maybe i've missed something, so please set me straight if i've miscalculated in some way. BIG thanks - I really appreciate your guides and all you do for us POE fanatics.

Can someone explain why Conductivity should not be used? How does the curse ordering affect the build?
Because the game prioritizes the debuffs alphabetically so Conductivity doesnt get the effect of ele weak or something to that effect

hey, thanks for the really thorough guide! I was just wondering the difference between "curse on hit" ring VS "curse on hit implicit glove". It seems like the latter is a lot cheaper than a ring atm. Then our curse progression will be something like "implicit glove curse+blasphemy" -> "curse ring+blasphemy" -> "curse ring+proxy" ?

Is this build ok for Deli Map farming? Nothing too harsh, maybe some 60%?
How do you actually calculate the dps of this build? Is it setup correctly in the pob? Is the damage per mine or all of them exploding at the same time?
Trying this build for 3.23. I LOVED old arc mine so wanted to give a mine build another go. However, question: Blood Drinker doesn't work with traps/totems/mines I don't think so we won't get that 2% life on kill. Did you take that node just to get the 50 hp from life mastery?
Being a newer player, what is a good loot filter to use when leveling with this build?

Question about a comment you make at 9:55... With the Affliction league changes, Hexblast mine now has a 90% chance to remove a curse instead of ALWAYS removing a curse... But I don't understand the comment about "Where some mines you can't remove a curse, and so you do less damage"... But I don't understand the desire to remove curses or how that factors into dealing more damage somehow. Is there a factor somewhere that removing a curse results in increased damage that I'm missing?
As for the mine throwing speed nerfs, I'm not too worried about those personally as I played it briefly in 3.22 and didn't go crazy on getting mine throwing speed and I already felt like I had plenty of speed to it. They seem like minimal impact nerfs that can be fairly easily overcome, but correct me if I'm wrong.
I think I'm gonna start into Affliction league with this as Pathfinder. You think that's a good idea? Probably switch to something more tanky for endgame though.

Pal did you do a test run with trickster? I was planning on sabo into trickster later but if you tested trickster and it was good i'd maybe just go trickster right away.
I see you have 'Is the enemy Burning?' checked in your PoB. But since Void Manipulation prevents ignite how are you applying the burning for the ascendancy crit multiplier from Explosives Expert? I've noticed the same thing mentioned in every hexblast video i've watched. It's casually mentioned which that hexblast applies the ignite and then is linked with VM. Seems to me that VM only becomes worthwhile once you can swap to the awakened for the extra hexblast level. Or am I just missing something obvious?
You're missing something obvious, no worries - VM doesn't prevent "burning"; it prevents "elemental damage" - however, an implicit line of Hexblast is "All damage can Ignite, Freeze and Shock". We're doing Chaos Damage, which then ignites as a result of that innate property.
@@elisianthus I did some tests and VM prevents ignite regardless. This is a quote from GGG a few years back but should still be correct today. "Even if you can cause the ailment from non-elemental damage, Ignite itself deals elemental damage, and that damage will thus be 0. Since zero-damage Ignites are not applied, you cannot ignite at all."
