What has been your experience with the Rexing app? I’ve read a lot of negative comments about how poorly the app works with the dashcam.
@@MrsBlaileen1 it’s straight no problems connecting to it at all. I just wish u didn’t have to be physically in the car or close range to access the information. But no problems but possibly get new obd power cords due to the hot weather it’ll start not staying on 24/7 surveillance anymore that’s the only issue to it tbh
@@DantesGarage Thanks! Yeah, I live in Texas so the heat will definitely be an issue for sure. Also, I read a user review on Best Buy that said the side cameras only record in black and white. Do you know if that’s true? Finally, does it come with a plug to connect it to your cig lighter (12v) in case you don’t want to hard wire? Glad to hear the app is ok.
@@MrsBlaileen1 Anytime man!!! sorry for the late reach out but everything is in color. Yes you can you the cigarette lighter port. But for me I bought a OBD cord that’s like the wiring system/don’t have to worry about the plug being in the way or a problem to charger anything else
It comes with the port charger to use but the OBD cord is better. Not taking up space in a free port area & it has a switch for 24/7 surveillance or power on only when u turn on the car
@@DantesGarage Thanks! I’ve read the 24/7 OBD connection has drained power from the car battery over time for some people so that’s why I may opt for the cig lighter connection, so I can just remove it when the car is off. Won’t get parking cam protection though.
How well do you still like this dash cam? Does the parking mode work fine with it connected to the OBD?
I still love it, while plugged in the OBD never had a problem & it’s still the best dash cam out until they add the live real time version to access the cams & videos from anywhere rather than inside your car to connect to the self WiFi to gather everything

@@yinyangg87 no it doesn’t it stay put where ever it is. You just have to position it right to capture all you want to see 💯🙏🏽
No motion detection hopefully thay will add it soon 😖
