Welcome to Year 2! Season Opener vs Bucs - Madden 24 Saints Franchise | Ep.24

- My Franchise on Madden 24 begins with the New Orleans Saints. The Saints offer a unique challenge compared to any other team looking at their future cap space problems and aging roster. The Saints are not a bad team in 2023 at all. But their future could not be anymore problematic as cap restraints will cause them to move on from players, including some of their aging veterans they still rely on.
I aim for a more sim feel to my Franchises. I play on All Madden sliders that promote a more realistic play style. I have developed my own XP sliders to create a more authentic feel to Franchise in terms of developing young players and replacing regressing veterans.
This will be my biggest Madden 24 series, and I'm excited to get the rebuild underway. - Hry
the qb school episode on Jason Tracys performance would be absolutely hilarious id say that much
lmaooooo
When I saw that dudes ratings I knew he would be so boom or bust every week lol
Over a decade of coming home from work to premium franchise content. Love you, Caane!
Tracy plays exactly like a rookie Bucs QB.
Literally just Mike Glennon all over again.
There were people saying the guy was Josh Allen during the live offseason stream. No, really.
It's literally just a big, slow, geeky white QB with all arm and no touch.
@@Oshujax21he's not that slow and he made some pretty decent scrambles. He's definitely a rookie Josh Allen type.
Jason Tracy is built like muscular SpongeBob in the Frycook Games.
Love the throwback Nate Bell refernece in there... really making us feel old with that one.
What's hilarious is that Tracy finished with a passer rating just 2 points lower than Carr 🤣
It's nice to see a rookie QB look like a rookie QB.
Madden injuries crack me up. Olave goes out with a bruised sternum but walks to the locker room favoring his arm. Yeah that makes sense
Edit: Updated with stats
Here’s your Top 5 Fantasy performers for Week 1!
This is going to be on the standard ESPN PPR scale
J. Johnson - 21.8 / 7 rec, 88 yds, 1 TD
D. Carr - 18.0 / 274 yds, 2 TDs, 1 INT
C. Olave - 17.8 / 5 rec, 68 yds, 1 TD
A. Kamara - 16.2 / 99 yds, 4 rec, 23 yds
J. Pearman - 13.3 / 8 rec, 53 yds
Week 1 Honorable Mentions
T. Hill - 12.4 / 3 rec, 38 yds, 1 TOT TD
J. Waters - 7.0 / 5 att, 70 yds
The Nate Bell reference will always be elite
Saints came in and were so so so dominant today.
And some of the new folks had a great debut performance too. Good work.
Love Juwan's excitement at 15:50
Feels like sacrilege the Bucs gave that new fullback the 40 number
I think if a rookie fb asked Alstott, he'd happily give the number. Still feels wrong, though.
That and the Bucs wearing Red at home before December haha 😂😂 Bucs HATE wearing Red at home
love this series can't wait for next game! the only thing i feel like its been missing is the evans/latimore battles. i know he was hurt this game but i think it would be cool to see them matched up w eachother next time they play!
The way tracy plays i wish the cpu played like that more with a rookie/low rated Qb
I've seen it a fair amount. Similar to Bryce Young as a Rookie and first game vs Ridder. QB differentiation is getting better.
Olave has the old classic not a concussion injury, 'bruised sternum'
Tracy’s play was cracking me up, he looked like a he was being controlled by a user who had no idea what the hell he was doing lol
You could've just said "controlled by Cane" and we would've understood what you meant 😋
Gonna be interesting to see how Tracys career goes forward and if he's a bust, maybe not just seems really raw.
gotta start calling John Waters 'The Pink Flamingo' if he's gonna get more touches after the cult classic movie Pink Flamingos whose director has the same name
10:28 I have decided to make the Nate Bell DB Academy official series and Caneiverse canon. That is all.
doug smenda better be a 7th round pick
And you know he'll play like the GOAT QB against the Saints.
too soon
Out of all of your franchises this just has so much intrigue around it. Absolutely love it.
Also i was so hyped to see Waters break that huge run, i like him
tomlinson, bolden, howden, houston, waters, even jennings and reynolds impressed me as well. this was a good game and a good win. very excited for this season, probably the most excited i’ve been since the chargers 😂 edit: i NEED to clarify i love all ur content but chargers was probably my favorites series of urs bc it’s when i started watching
Use double T as you slot corner to handle tight ends or bigger receivers
It’s finally here 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
About damn time!
30:06, you had me laughing, Cane 😂
Olave is probably one of my favourite ever players in one of your franchises. It’s very fun watching an IRL player be such an elite playmaker for you.
I Love how you gave Jennings some grabs. as a 49er fan makes me happy seeing him actually get plays
It's crazy that I'm still watching his vids and I've been watching since the Madden 12 Vikings franchise days
A.T. Perry enthusiast here, get him more snaps!
Great way to start the season.
going to be a great year two!
Uh oh, the Bucs have a fullback with the #40. Better watch out for him. lol
Remember to change Houston’s number - also been watching you since the Minnesota dynasty- by far my favorite channel on CZcams!
As a Chargers fan, I appreciate the 21 on Tommy Tomlinson - looking forward to this season ahead!
*WHEW!!!* I was about to start crying for real when Olave got hurt.
Let’s gooooooo
heck yeahhh
Josh Reynolds had a rough game
15:36 may be the worst defense I’ve ever seen by the All Madden CPU. Should’ve been a pick. However, that route was open right after the snap
It's only one game, but really encouraging signs from the new players on this team. It would not surprise me if Waters makes Miller expendable in the backfield if he keeps finding creases like he did here. He might end up being the perfect complement to Kamara. Pearman may be raw but I love how you're using him. Shouldn't surprise me to know how much you value him considering he has a similar skillset to Percy Harvin!
Tomlinson should definitely continue to start. He did very well matching up with Mike Evans. You just can't keep him off the field after that debut. Pass rush will be the soft spot in this defense - and the Saints' defensive backfield can compete with anybody in the league if that's the case - but the gameplan against Tampa Bay's rookie QB was well executed. It won't be like this every week but I think this game should be proof that this Saints roster can still compete.
might need to turn up the wr catch on the sliders... unusual amount of drops. felt unreal.
John "Divine" Waters is a stud
Hey cane can you check to see if Tracy has throw ball away and then if he does change it. Like half of his passes are just throw aways.
Boom!
those last 2 FGs should have been Pearman touchdowns
Lucky you still have Hill, he retired after year one for me 😂
good game
Bit of a random Idea but have you considered when you are ready to move on from Carr instead of drafting a QB trading for Malek Wallace and having a second go at developing him?
BTW Cane, these not gonna be a sim franchise this year?
he talked about doing it some time soon
Tracy out here playing like zack Wilson
Not really. How many times has Zach Wilson throw for 2 TDs in a game? 🤣
Hey guys, did Cane ever mention when he'll be able to do a rebuild series like the Browns, Texans, Giants and the Vikings of old?
he said on the second channel later on in the madden cycle
it was in one of the athletics videos i can’t remember which one
@@fud9l746 thanks man.
Reynolds dropping on the depth chart while Waters is rising.
3:09 Mike Edwins
I've seen enough the Saints are winning the super bowl
as a saints fan i appreciate the james houston number swap
Hope 31:18 isn't a bad omen for my team. REALLY need the Bills to lose so the Dolphins can clinch the division with 3 games left.
What system are you playing it on, Mr. Hurricane
Is Adam Cain interested in a starting job for the bucs😂😂
Pearman is Tyquan Thornton 2.0
What offensive playbook were you using this game?
The injuries in this game are hilarious. Bruised sternum for blocking a CB?
So there is Jauan Johnson Jauan Jennings Brian Johnson and Lonnie Johnson Jr? This is confusing
What's up with the punting?
25:33 O was breaking open
You really let Kamara finish with 99 yards
John Waters is the back you should replace after kamara is gone. Just watch you found your running back of your franchise as a undrafted rookie
Why 13 minute quarters and not 15?
Waters looking like Ricky Waters at RB
I'd prefer 15, but I haven't liked the play clock runoff I'd have to change to. Less time to motion and set plays up. So I've played on 13 min 15 runoff for a long time.
I think this Saints team can go anywhere from 6-11 to 10-7 go Cane
Has anyone found his playbook I tried and couldn't find it if so can u tell me what to look for
26:34 what the hell was that defense?
Who Dat!
Anyone know the name of Cane’s playbook on PS?
Waters=RB2
Bolden=Sub Lb
Kendre=RB3
Werner=Depth trade at deadline
Bolden can't cover
Can you change Reynold's jersey number? Number 8 is retired by the Saints. Give him 18 or 88.
John Waters is here to STAY!
You have got to edit those big ass shoulder pads on tracy lol
That's the first thing I noticed 😂
99 throw power as a rookie!? Please fix his equipment btw
Not sure why but I feel like Tracy could actually be a super tough QB to play against in a few years
He reminds me of Sam Howell IRL.
I don't get it I just started watching this dude and I have a question, so is he playing both teams ? That isn't the cpu playing. This almost looks scripted. Can someone please explain what's going on just so I understand
He’s playing against the cpu
First
Yes 🤘🤘🤘
Immersion ruined. Tampa doesn't wear red. It's just white and pewter now 0/10
Why do the rookies look so small compared to the non fictional players
No hate but can u turn on the commentary other then using your voice
