Hey bud, so I do a reaction and review show for independent films. I've been doing narrative film for close to 40 years now. sometimes I give feedback if I see where improvements need to be made, but I'm actively seeking out independent filmmakers such as yourself. The goal is to try to drive more traffic to you guys's movies and eventually I'm probably going to put a couple of yours...this one for sure, in the rotation. I'll check your channel to see if you have any other works.
So I personally didn't like this. Please don't take this too harshly. The girl who played Sarah did a decent job. Her voice and tone sold a more..dramatic performance. The main guy doing some unnecessary things. Especially in the beginning. The performance from him and the guy in the rose colored shirt..feels flat. Doesn't feel like how people would actually speak. The rose shirt guy made some weird facial expressions. Also why are both men with one shirt flap sticking out? This would also be better if there was music to set the tone and create a more gritty feel. I believe there was a section in the guys scene where the gun in his pants was in the front. But part of the scene it goes to his back. I believe the sound of a person's voice, tones used help the acting feel more believable and of course expressions. That feels lacking in this from everyone. But mostly the men. The Sarah scene felt a but comedic ..like ring around the rosie..but a dining table. Hope you keep improving and learning from each experience.
